I was dreading overtime, but what else to expect from these two teams. Pretty evenly matched. Could have gone either way, but I'm glad we won. Feels soooo good.

I spent the whole game waiting for Binnington to let in a softie, but he was unreal, especially as time wound down and in OT.

I have doubts that they'll do this tournament again, though, at least at this time of year. I imagine the teams that are now dealing with injured star players (like the Bruins) can't be too thrilled.

Imagine Canada had 300 million citizens all focused on hockey. Of course they don’t, which therefore makes it a pointless argument to make.

My car would be faster if the manufacturer had put more cylinders in the engine. They have the know how, the resources, and the ability to do it. But they didn’t. So guess what? My car doesn’t drive like a car with extra cylinders.

Canada won. End of story.

I do beleive that have the BEST hockey development system. I go agree with your assessment.

I’m happy for Marchy. I’m even happy for Crosby. I’m happy for our HF Bruins Canadian pals.

Of course I wanted the US to win but it was great hockey and at no point did I feel any anger or hate. Guess that’s reserved for Toronto, Habs, and Florida.

Happy for Marchand. Not sure he makes the roster a year from now at 37, so if this was his national team swan song, it’s nice to see him win “at home” so to speak.
