Getting embarrassed like that on Nickelodeon had to be the final straw...

As for the Jets, so glad White is cleared to play. I never want to see Zach Wilson on the field or even in uniform again. He sucks and he completely lost the trust of his teammates. White may not be the future, but he's the Jets' best chance right now, and his teammates love him. They need to sign a good veteran QB in free agency, and focus on O-Line in the draft.
O-line definitely needs work.

If the Jets give up on Wilson they should take some of the blame for hurting his value. Playing bad is normal for young QBs but there are other things going on here. If they kept the personality things in house and quiet they could have got more value in a trade. This guy was the #2 pick a year ago. Now what is his trade value? 3rd round pick? Lower?

Jones earned himself another season, I think. He's played well enough to think he could excel, given some WR weapons and a revamped interior OL. They also won't be picking somewhere you can grab a QB that will be a Day-1 starter, so I don't really see a good option to replace him. No one in trade/free agency outside of Lamar is enough of an upgrade to justify the likely cost, and Lamar is a pipe dream.

About the same as Baker Mayfield.....maybe a smidgeon less.

You're not getting him for 1 season. He'll be able to get a long term contract somewhere. My guess is Giants tag him but then that probably means Saquon is gone.

That is an interesting comparison. Difference being many people looked at Baker more of a known player after 4 years whil Zach has only played about 1 seasons worth of games. The price for Baker was a 4th or 5th round pick but Cleveland paid $10 mill of his salary.

Baker is also in a interesting place. He stunk this year except for 2 good games on the Rams out of 3 games as a Ram. Baker will be a UFA.

If DJ had the Jets WR and defense the Jets would be discussing who they are playing in the playoffs.

LV benching Carr last 2 games. Stidham to start. Carr probably playing elsewhere next season.

Yup, i hope to god its not the jets, If he cant get it done with Waller, Renfrow, and Adams what the f*** is he going to do for us lol.

This team should trade WIlson for a 5th. Get the cancer out of the lockeroom. Resign White, use all the damn draft picks on the offensive line. And then next year we can start to draft a qb. We need to fix the O-line. Draft two tackles with the first two picks no matter what. Fant and Becton are not the answer.

Yeah, because it's Carr's fault that the team there has abysmal coaching and a terrible defense lol.

People hating on Carr said the same thing about Cousins. Carr here with the Jets defense backing up and the skill players have a chance to compete for the division and a near-locked-in WC spot.

If Mike White was the starter all season the Jets would have already clinched

You can blame coaching all you want. But not being able to get the ball to your receivers is literally what he has not been able to do. I hate Mcdaniels as a head coach,. hes awful, as an OC hes great. There are just coaches like that. But Derek Carr is not the answer for the Jets.

I hope he doesnt come here, but if he does then i will accept it as i always have as a jets fan and we will remain in mediocrity. We need to be using those draft picks on offensive line to fix this issue especially with our cap issues for next season.

You will end up emptying the war chest for carr since he JUST signed a 3 year contract. Then we are still stuck with the same but actually worse offensive line than this year since i believe 9 of the 11 of them are free agents.

Derek Carr is a Jet uniform would be a wonderful thing.
hes everything you want
First of all, hes a World class human being. and an adult, and a pro.
And it would cost nothing more than draft capitol.
And other good players would suddenly show up at the Jets door.
Get it done

I've been supportive of the Jets for over half a century, but I'm giving up.

If the Giants clinch a playoff berth this weekend and still go into Philly saying "We're the G-Men and we're playing all our starters"!, that would be awesome!

Maybe or maybe not.
Zach Wilson is 5-4 in his 9 starts.
Mike White is 1-2 in his 3 starts.
Flacco is 1-2 in his 3 starts.
Wilson is talented-but not a pro
White is a pro-but cant protect himself
Flacco is too old and washed up.
Im fine with White as the backup But the Jets really need a QB. They got a window. Dont waste it.

I'd be so upset if my team wasted a #2 pick so quickly but it is what it is. I do not know the Jets cap status but if they want to spend money both Carr and Wilson (Denver) will be available. Lamar might as well but probably not. I think Carr is a solid 9-13 QB who the Jets would win with if he is healthy. I think the Raiders are blaming the wrong guy for their season.

I hope we win tomorrow. We can worry about Philly next week.

If the Giants at home can’t beat the Colts to clinch a playoff spot then they don’t deserve the playoffs. That simple.
Is it that simple for for KC and Jax as well? They both lost to the Colts. The teams that make it are the teams that deserve it in my opinion.

Can’t really look at week 3 and week 6 losses in Indy to a team that had playoff hopes at the time, and compare it to a “playoffs on the line” week 17 home game against an Indy team that is now in complete disarray and has been eliminated from playoff contention for weeks.

I dont get the Raiders bailing on Carr. Makes zero sense to me but that organaziation dances by it own song.

He hasn't played great but he is being scapegoated imo. The strange thing is they still had an outside chance to make the playoffs. Their defense blew multiple late leads. Thats not on Carr though.
