Very impressive by the Giants so far. I don't think they're a playoff team or some version of the 2005-06 Rangers for those who were around here back then, but they may fulfill the 5-6 wins many predicted as their max.....before the Bye!

Not getting too far ahead, but they have a legit chance to go into the Bye either 6-2 or 5-3. if that's the case they will guarantee to play competitive football past Thanksgiving for the first time since 2016, and they might challenge for a Wild Card spot.

Still a long long way to go, but with reinforcements and Jones not doing anything too dumb, the next two games are winnable.

This date was a Sunday, FWIW

It's pretty bonkers how for a lot of us, the 2010s were the low point in NY sports history. After the Giants SB win, not much else.

It didn't seem as bad maybe because of being an adult, how seasons are longer, 24/7 coverage and players/reporters on social media, and if the Rangers are the primary team you root for, they were very busy and had some really competitive seasons, but I know for a lot of fans who suffered with the Wilpons phoning it it, or the NBA teams, it was not fun.

Mets actually had a world series appearance and probably should have won except they had a reliever who became the first pitcher in MLB history to blow 3 saves in the world series.

Might be one of the most satisfying Jets wins in forever. Biggest win since that game against the Patriots with Fitzpatrick, maybe Darnold's first game, which was the last time they won in September. Speaks volumes about where the franchise has been.

Wilson and Hall have been fantastic. Finally seeing the team have young talented players is just a breath of fresh air. When was the last time the Jets had a very good young wide receiver? Jerricho Cotchery? Enunwa was also good, but he was clearly the 3WR his first season and had a good year after and then his career ended with that injury. Maybe to get someone this talented you have to go back to Santana Moss.

I'm looking for that pass rush to hit next week. 1 sack is not going to cut it. The Bengals OL is in shambles again. Get to Burrow and maybe you can upset them like last year.

Cotchery was solid but not really dynamic. The thing about this team is we finally have weapons on offense, even Carter is more dynamic than anything we’ve had in ages. We still have no offensive line or pass rush, or possibly even a QB but , baby steps.

Trevor Lawrence is simultaneously beautiful and ugly as shit

The Dallas Cowboys have a 71-46-2 record against the Giants all-time.

Cows 9 W 1 L last 10

Absolute domination

The last 2,229 games where a team was down 13+ points with less than 2 minutes left, they lost. And then you have the NY jets.
