Running backs aren't getting tagged. If Barkley leaves I wouldn't mind Jacobs or Pollard.

Ekeler is a FA also.

Barkley said a few times he wanted to be a UFA but I wonder if the market will be more than he was offered last season. Could be after such a large cap raise.

Russell Wilson cut. Denver is absorbing $85 million in dead money.

Holy shit lol
The Sean Payton Memorial ‘Not My Decision, Not My Problem’ award, given annually to the new(ish) head coach who cuts the player with the largest dead money hit.

At some point whomever succeeds Dennis Allen in New Orleans is going to set the record, albeit likely cutting multiple players.

Is there more to that than just play? He actually had a solid bounce back season last year.
Big Broncos fan watch every minute of every game. He sucked. At best a game manager.
Glad they moved on they need to rebuild and there is no point in winning 6/7 games with a mediocre Wilson vs playing whoever and winning 4 games and getting a better pick.

I definitely didn't see him every minute last season but I did see him make some pretty good plays at times. Jets definitely would have been a playoff team with him imo. Not saying you should keep him. I think he is around 35-36.

He's aged fast. Has zero escapability left.
Can't see over the offensive line. Probably would have taken a ton of sacks behind the jets offensive line. The broncos had a pretty decent defense as well like the jets
Jets probably would have won an extra game maybe two.

Wherever the keg is!

A part of me feels for the guy, but a part of me says it's best if they part ways.

He still can't adjust for shit: when he's locked on a target, he's f***ing locked in.
Times where he was running it when he could have easily aired it out to an open receiver.

That, and that blow-up he had with Daboll didn't do him favors, especially when he was guilty of playing like dog shit.

I'm not thinking he is in his prime but I didn't realize he played that bad last season. Kind of surprised. His stats looked better.

Yeah he played as safe as possible. Would basically throw 15 for 20 for 150 yards . Hard to win in todays NFL doing that.
He's an average old QB making a huge amount of money.

If that’s true I’m glad the Giants front office realize Jones just isn’t the guy. I didn’t blame them for resigning him, and I ever blame a player for getting his money, but Jones was so bad. As a fan I’m ready to move on.

It's the first time ever that 7 1K FA RBs are available.
I do not think the Giants want to pay top dollar for a UFA running back but I would not mind Josh Jacobs. I think he runs a bit more north/south than Barkley.
