BTW, I have zero game in this fight since I don't listen to her music, I'm not a Chiefs fan, and I'm also a near-40 year old married dude.

Yet somehow I can see the objective positives about having the biggest musical performer on the planet with allegedly over 100,000,000 fans all over the world getting eyes onto the game. I've seen it with my own family. I've heard of it from friends where all of a sudden they have a sister into the game, now. Or a cousin.

Honestly, I wish she was dating a hockey player. The NHL could seriously use that press.

And it's really cringe to go after her fanbase for sure. I find that to be just obnoxious. And it's almost always over some stupid political issue, too.

Wherever the keg is!
So be mad at CBS. Not sure why you're calling out her fans. What a bizarre and stupid take. Laughable, really.

Her fans have nothing to do with this. Hell, she has nothing to do with this. That she's f***ing a Chief is meaningless. CBS, etc. keep making this a big story even when their own announcers no longer want to talk about it.

What a cringe take to talk shit on her fans for no reason.

Go yell at clouds, old timer.

Tell me you're a Swifty without telling me you're a Swifty.

Giselle and Brady weren't crammed down our necks as often as these two kumquats, and the fans also had enough of those two at a fraction of the exposure.

Why go after her fans? There's a reason why I called them legion: I posted a video of a cartoon where the person was making fun of Kelce, Swift, and her fans.

The response? Guy gets ridiculed, receives death threats, and it only gets exacerbated when you looked at some of the responses from her fans that were made online; unless to you "making hexes," posting execution videos, photos of corpses is normal behavior.

And it's not just him: anyone who's been critical of her has dealt with that borg mentality.

And to hell with her, too: overrated, over 30 acting like she's in high school, and her musical inspiration is getting kicked to the curb...again...and again...and again....

I will yell at clouds, blame whatever network that keeps showing her reactions, the Chiefs for other reason, and the league for a whole lot of other issues.

Now go take your Ritalin!

the NHL didn't really get a huge boost from Carrie Underwood marrying Mike Fisher, did it?

Underwood didn't have a cult like Taylor does but she was a pretty big star at the time.

Maybe if she married a Kelce level superstar instead of 3rd liner Mike Fisher.

Carrie Underwood is a normal celebrity. Just like the normal celebrities that attend NBA, NHL, and MLB games.

There's no comparison. Swift's level of fandom is basically a modern day Beatles. But on steroids.

Again, feel free to blame the networks. I know I sure do. They could show her half the time they do and get just as many eyeballs.

If you don't think this is gatekeeping, you should really understand what that means.

Again, I don't know what you want me to tell you. I *LITERALLY* have two in my family. Never football fans before, have been following like crazy since this started and I don't see their interest waning any time soon.

If you want to pretend that "these women" have to know how random defenses work to be fans of the game, that's even more gatekeeping garbage.

We don't require male fans to be able to break down NFL defenses.

Honestly kind of bizarre that some of you guys are so weird with this. Just strange. Ignore the media coverage of it of it bothers you this much.

Great! Blame the media. Blame CBS for zooming in on her even after Romo made it clear he didn't want to talk about her.

It's an objective fact that her presence is growing the sport.

The big issue, here, is that people are unable to separate her and her fans from the media making her a spotlight. It's bizarre to lump her and her fans in with CBS, etc., here. It's either bad faith or it's ignorance.

What a wacky message.

I’m not talking shit on anyone. Did you take your meds today?

All I said is that I doubt these woman watching solely for Taylor Swift will stick with the sport. Yes, “these women,” because I am referring to a group of people. Just like we are “those guys - or gals” on a hockey message board. No, they don’t have to know the intricacies of a defense. The point was that they aren’t likely to be NFL fans going forward. If they are? Fabulous. Why would I care? I just know the few females in my life who sit down to watch a football game merely due to Taylor Swift being in the stands aren’t now legitimate football fans who are going to follow the sport. Again, if they are, great. However, this is reality. I’m certainly not criticizing them or calling them bad people or “gatekeeping.”

You know “literally two people!!” Who you think are now going to be into football. Ok, cool? Two people is not a sample size. It’s a cool thing though. I don’t know why you act like I’m angrily against it.

I’m not mad at anyone. I find it mildly annoying when they keep showing her during a game. I’m not shaking a fist at my TV. I do roll my eyes. I’m not bad mouthing people who follow her.

Dude, get help. Your post reads like a satirical left wing article.

I feel like you're doing what many startup founders do in investment pitches. "If we get just a small percentage of this enormous market this business will be worth 1 billion dollars!". It rarely works that way.

Chargers get Harbaugh

Meanwhile we’re stuck with this lame duck coaching staff who , under any other circumstances or any other organization, would have been fired by now.
Isn't it interesting that two of our coaching failures have been successful elsewhere: Bowles and Pete Carroll.....hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I'd have to go with Detroit -- they're due....besides I don't have the warm and fuzzies for SF or KC (not since Gonzalez retired) and I can take or leave Baltimore.

I'm on Detroit's bandwagon otherwise I don't really mind the ravens. Don't want to see chiefs or 49ers even though I bet on them.
