Get Up guys raving about Joe Flacco. It is kind of cool to see. Saying he was their 4th Qb but has been the best. Happy for Joe. They are kind of like the Jets by having a great defense. Jim Schwartz has been a great defensive guy for decades now.

I have Deebo Samuel and Chiefs DEF, he has Kittle and Ravens DEF. Someone tell me I am going to win, I had a 40 point lead that got nuked yesterday because LaPorta/Achane got like 3 touches each.

Kittle and Ravens defense will be an interesting pick today since they are playing each other. Only reason I want the Ravens is that Daniel Jones (Giants) is the only NFC QB to ever beat Lamar Jackson.

By the way very few people spoke about it but I thought Daniel Jones may have been concussed early in his week 1 game vs the Cowboys. I felt Dabes should have looked out for DJ and Andrew Thomas (hamstring) in that game.

Jets have a lot of talent. I'd look for a good backup just in case Rodgers can't do what the Jets hope.

The delay of game on the Giants at the end of the first half may have been even worse. Gifted the Eagles 3 points.

The call on the Giants center was crap too.

Lane Johnson was moving at least a second before the snap all game long, and nothing was called.

It was pretty obvious that the Eagles were going to be given the game.

Jets have a lot of talent. I'd look for a good backup just in case Rodgers can't do what the Jets hope.

That's all fine and good....but it's not going to help when you OC is fixated on all things Rodgers. I think one of the reasons they struggled offensively (besides the o-line) is the fact that their valued OC seemed lost without Rodgers. All his schemes were built around AR. I honestly cannot think of one thing he changed with the other QBs....week after week, it was the same old, same old.

Giants need a QB, plain and simple. The offensive line still needs help, and they need a #1WR, but this game was lost because of poor play at the QB position.

The DeVito story was fun, and Taylor is a fine backup but was missing some throws he had to make, and Jones has been injured multiple times while not exactly setting the world on fire during his career.

I partially agree although I think AR would have been good enough, and wise enough, to realize the ball needed to come out quicker.

That’s not to say his play wouldn’t have suffered at times or he wouldn’t have taken some shots, but I don’t think he would’ve been back there running around in circles trying to evade a rush.

He would have been fine. Plenty of good QBs have been successful behind bad o-lines. As you say Zach makes the o-like look even worse by constantly running backwards and such. Take the fumble early against Miami for example. Becton killed the play obviously. There was also absolutely no need to start running backwards and then try to throw the ball while being tackled. Someone like Rodgers would have recognized the play was dead and just went down and accepted the 3-4 yard loss without doing something stupid.
