Yes Jones was terrible last night - and without Barkley (and seemingly Waller who they targeted only 3 times) he has been put on an island due to the horrifically pathetic offensive line.

I mean how do you even assess a quarterback with complete confidence when you have a line as shitty as that??

It really is a curse being a Rangers, Giants, Yankees, and Knicks fan right?

In the last 37 years, Giants have won 4 Super Bowls.

In the last 27 years, Yankees have won 5 World Series.

Jets, Rangers, and Knicks fans are crying in the corner. Yeah, Rangers won in '94, but 1 championship in 30 years?

Last championship in 50?!

60?!?!?!?

He’s had chances to make plays, but doesn’t pull the trigger on long throws.

He had Waller wide open on that Pick 6, and he had Wan’dale wide open on a 3rd and 11 he threw away. It’s his 5th year, at some point you have to be fearless enough to make those throws, and he just doesn’t. Those types of plays changes the dynamic of the offense and how the opposing defense plays against you.

100% noticed this as well. There were a few chances to let it rip with a guy open and deep Jones just doesn't pull the trigger and ends up dumping it off, and not only this past week too.

Also, use a pump fake once in a while, it can be a real asset to loosen some DBs coverage. Eli used it a TON very effectively, and I don't think I've seen Jones do it once.

His apology I actually think it's sincere.

I don’t. Who do you think wrote that for him? The team or his agent? Both have a lot of money tied up in him.

You think he sat down with a pen and wrote that?

I do think he knows he screwed up. Whether he feels bad for folks and not just himself… who knows, but I doubt it.

I figured someone at least cleaned it up for him. Maybe I'm overthinking it but I figured the team or his agent wouldn't say he's frustrated in his own play, maybe they would.

No. It is definitely sincere. Look, the kid has never faced any real failure like this in his life. And everyone who has worked with him or met him has come out speaking volumes about his character and drive.

The idea that he isn't sincere with this is absurd to me knowing everything that's been said from people who know him.

Easily. Jones directly caused at least 3-4 of the sacks himself. He also was directly responsible for all three interceptions.

Jones has been staring down a single receiver all season. That's not on the line. That's on him. He's been trash and he won't be a Giant in 2026 years if this continues.
