Fortunately Dolan is distracted by the technological terror he constructed in in las vegas.

I wish Dolan would buy the Giants.

Yeah. I said it.

I’ve seen some bad offensive lines, including during Eli’s final seasons, but tonight is the worst performance I have ever seen by a unit. There’s no pride by these guys giving free runs at their QB.

Maybe the QB should take some pride and throw the f***ing ball. When Jones had time (and he had time a number of times), he was staring down he primary target the entire way. The ONLY time I even saw the guy make multiple reads was when he was throwing the third interception.

It is abundantly clear that Daboll is very upset with him. Jones appeared to shrug Daboll off and not listen to him when Daboll just tossed the iPad aside. You could see the exasperation in his face.

Not worth analyzing QB play on a night like tonight.

Daboll and the 3 coordinators have been terrible.

Shoen has been as bad as Gettleman thus far.

The Oline has Jones shook.

Jones hasn't played well but I think alot has to do with no blocking.

WRs never get open. Aikman said they're not running full speed.

The defense can't generate turnovers.

Defense lacks playmakers.

I expected the Giants to take a step back record wise but this season has looked like a Joe Judge team. This is really horrible.

They genuinely look like a team that will pick Top 3 in the draft.
Said in the beginning of the season that I wouldn't be shocked if they go 1-6 in their first two months of the season, with Arizona the only game that they win in that stretch. Then you have Dallas again, Philly twice, and the Commanders who actually look like a team twice.

Said 7-9 before the season started, but this looks like a 3-14 team. If not for the Bears they would legitimately be in the Caleb Williams sweepstakes.

To add, the Giants' rebuild is eerily going the way of the Rangers' rebuild. One fluke run and the rebuild is over, only the Giants pretty much have nothing to show from their years of suckitude. Gettleman's picks sucked. Neal looks like he's going to suck. Thibs looks like a pedestrian middle of the road pass rusher at best. They only have Andrew Thomas to show for it lol.

This franchise is as bad as any franchise out there. People hoping for a top pick will be sorely disappointed when that player will bust either because Schoen clearly sucks as a talent evaluator or because he'll be drafted into a cancer organization that has spent 15 years looking for a competent O-line. There is literally zero hope for this franchise.

It's a complete disservice to the Rangers to compare the Giants to them. They were a top 10 team the last two years, the Giants weren't even a top 10 team last year. And at the Rangers' worst it never got as a bad as pretty much any year outside of 2016 and 2022 for the Giants. Are Rangers are a solid but unspectacular franchise, the Giants are bottom of the barrell. I don't care about ancient championships either.

Schoen looks like he blew two top 10 picks.

Daboll is reminding me of Judge's second year. His coaching doesn't look the same in the second year. Team unprepared and uninspired.

Oh could they stop putting Giants in prime time. All eyes on them. They don't play well. Now you have some players mocking Jones. I do think the media/talking heads have made it cliché to clown Jones. And some players are following along.

I'm done defending Jones as a player. But the guy has gotten nothing but take a beating since he got drafted with some in the media even claiming Haskins (who was worse than Jones even at Jones's worst) was passed on by Gettleman for Jones due to racism. And now players are mocking him like I've never seen players mock anyone. As bad as Jones is there have been worse QBs who have had far less vitriol sent their way by the media and players than Jones. It's pathetic.

The 49ers openly mocking his contract is crazy. I can’t imagine the Players Association is thrilled with that too.

f*** the 49ers too. Never liked them. The early 2000's division round playoff game when they had Jeff Garcia as their QB and Trey Junkin botching the game winning FG snap (I still remember that scrub's name, it was that traumatic) and still had TO iced it for me. They were dancing all over the Giants' grave after that game in spite of having should have lost. I'll never root for them, ever.

Jones personality factors in too. It's easier to mock someone when you know they won't respond.
Like a bully, if you don't stand up for yourself the bullying will continue.

Eli didn't talk back as well. He had to take the bullshit 3x (Before each Super Bowl win, near the end of his playing career).

Jones has to face some blame, but honestly, who does this team actually have?!

Hell, Eli's TEs alone were head and shoulders better than what we have as TE, RB (Except Barkley), and WR.

Sign me the f*** right up for another headcase Shockey, injury prone Ballard and Boss!

I really hate to say it but his priviledged preppy Duke look feeds into this, IMO. It feels like there's something personal against this priviledged looking white QB that would be working for Morgan Stanley if he wasn't in the NFL.

Tiki reminds me of nevesis talking about the Giants. People that play see too much nuance. Because frankly relatively speaking all NFL teams are close to each other compared to the general population. This is the NFL it often does come down to small things. You don't see a massive screw up on every play, so no shit it's never REALLY as bad as it looks. You can't look at every play and say it's a few plays with small mistakes. That's EVERY game.

I expected regression this year but did not expect arguably one of the worst season-opening stretches of games in my ~40 years as a Giants fan.

Kafka (and Wink, but his time had likely passed anyway) is coaching himself out of any potential head coaching job.

Seattle was missing 4 starting O-linemen. Yet their offense somehow managed to not resemble an actual tire fire. The Bengals went to the Superbowl behind an offensive line that gave up the most sacks in the entire NFL that year. Herbert had two 4k+ passing yards, 30+ touchdown seasons his first two years behind arguably the worst offensive line in the league.

Our coaches' utter inability to scheme some kind of merely ACCEPTABLE offensive gameplan is shocking.

Meanwhile, Daniel Jones does not have the toolset to overcome poor offensive line play. He is below average at reading defenses and on pre-snap reads. He routinely stares down his primary receiver. We were so spoiled by Eli.

The Giants have already spent their draft capital on the line. 3/5 of the current offensive line are picks #4, #7, and #57 overall. Ezeudu was #67. Neal was a consensus top-10 pick, widely considered the best tackle in his entire draft class.

After this season, we may actually have the draft capital (which we didn't last season) to try and draft Jones' replacement.
