If you want to change it — make it a 10 minute OT. If it’s still tied then you keep going. But Bills didn’t lose this game because of OT rules. They lost because they got out coached. Some really questionable calls and decisions from Daboll and Frazier.

I appreciate the willingness to be "unbiased", since it would look salty of you to complain about the rules right now as a Bills fan, but the rule sucks. The Chiefs didn't outcoach anybody IMO. They were just as bad at stopping the Bills O as the Bills were at stopping the Chiefs O. The Bills win the game if they win the toss, just as the Chiefs did. Everyone sitting at home watching the game knew whoever won the toss was winning that game.

Oh damn Brady lost and the Bills lost, that sucks.

I know we have Bills fans here, sorry gents, when your team is eliminated by October 1st there isn’t much to cheer for.

Your QB is awesome and he will get to the bowl soon.

How strange. I don't think I've ever seen a request to interview a currently active coordinator for the same coordinator role. It's always to interview for a promoted role (Head Coach).

If Graham takes the interview, that would signal he'd rather be in Pittsburgh to begin with since it is not a promotion - or there would be no reason to do an interview for the same position.

Graham himself was interviewed as the DC in Miami. Granted he was the assistant HC with the Giants but I think that is window dressing.

WHAT?!

NEVER!

I'd sooner cut off my scrotum with a linoleum knife then root for the cowgirls.

The only thing I'm rooting for with regards to Dallas is that Jethro gets to live another 1,000 years.

I'm not saying I became a Dallas fan, but countless idiots in the 70s did when both teams were horrid. Probably the same thing happening now.

And yes, Jerrah being the GM is the gift that keeps on giving.

Feel terrible for Bills fans.

To think it was over, only to get a 4th and 3 conversion and THEN a 4th and 13th touchdown to take the lead, and then get an incredible conversion to make it a 3 point lead.... then to see that vanish within seconds... then to come ALL the way back and score AGAIN with 13 sec left?... and then lose it OT?!

Nuts. Greatest game I've ever seen

As a Giants fan, most have been spoiled and entitled brats since 2017. How many people here went through the mid 60s-early 80s dark ages?

One Super Bowl a decade the last four decades. Any Rangers fan would sign up for that 25/8/366.

I grew up in the 80s and 90s so it was always LT/Marshall/Simms/etc. a lot of success. I didn't like the Ernie Acorsi era, his teams felt too much like the 80s Rangers to me. But he left them with some nice presents and Reese was able to gift wrap the personnel for a few years.

Gettelman and Judge were terrible. Both are gone.

This is nothing compared to the Giants true dark ages.

it’s getting pretty dark though. Both the cap and talent are a disaster. By seasons end this was the worst team i’ve ever seen. Literally, a practice squad QB off the Bills is getting starts and the team cannot even field a 53 man team b/c they are out of cap space.

That Ben Mcadoo basically said Eli was done. Yet all the media, these fans and all these ex-players from the Eli Super Bowl era plus Carl Banks became experts all rallied behind a finished Eli.

well, here we are. An absolute mess after an absolute moron named Dave Gettleman destroyed the team.

Allen has the strongest arm I've ever seen. Dude can throw the ball under pressure, falling backwards, 30+ yards down the field with close to zero arc. It's insane.
He also has no fear when running the ball it seems.

Schoen Presser at 11:45 today

Joe Schoen's first interview as Giants GM

Watching this is breath of fresh air.

He sounds 100x more competent than Gettleman. My God. There is actually a plan and he speaks to it with sense and purpose, not with some belittling condescension.

He lays out everything that needs to happen in detail and while doing it is pointing out everything Gettleman did wrong, including letting Allen drop to the Bills. Absolutely horrific GM.

We'll see what happens, but the Giants finally got a good one IMO. Let him do his thing for a decade

So the Giants strategy is to ride it out with guys who rode it out with guys who road Josh Allen's coattails. Do I have that right? Hate to be negative, but it's putting all your eggs in one basket.

Daboll was a big reason for Allen’s (and the Bills offense in general) development and success.

The kid didn’t come into the league throwing Marino like darts

My issue is they seemed to target these two guys right off the bat, but only appeared to conduct a "thorough" interview process while going through the motions knowing they were going to immediately circle back. I'm rooting for this to work out & really hope they're right this time, but my confidence is not very high.

i have no opinion on this hire as a Jets fan but you’ve got it all wrong there. Buffalo and their coaches deserve a ton of credit for developing Josh Allen. Bc that dude did not come into the league ready to be even a replacement level player.

Pretty dark ain't pitch black dawg.

They won a SB and made the playoffs one other time last decade. From 1965-1980 the Giants were an afterthought.

Who should they have hired then?

He's probably going to bring in Wink Martindale for defense who was last with Baltimore. And yes the Ravens were not a good team this season but historically Wink is solid.

I'm not personally a fan of bringing in offensive guys as HCs but Daboll has experience on the defensive side of the ball and like Coughlin, he's done all kinds of stuff in offense.

People who think the Giants make a playoff run next year are delusional. If they get to 6-7 wins that's a start.

What is a successful season? Progress, stability, and most importantly, getting the injury totals down.

The big thing is what they decide at QB. Jones isn't the answer long term, but I don't think drafting one in the first round this year is the right move either.
