Drew Lock started 0 for 4 so Dabes thought it would be a good idea to go for it on 4th and 8? Intentional grounding was the result.

Dabes went for it on 4th and 8 but not on 4th and 5 and 4th and 2? Interesting choices.

Jets are not eliminated from the playoffs. They need to win 5 straight and hope everyone else collapses to stay alive. :D

Great Jets lose, they probably beat the Jags next week if they play like this on offense, but today had to be a loss.

Clutch miss by Gano too.

Giants have the 2nd pick right now. If they won I think it would've dropped them to 8th. There are so many bad teams this late in the season.

There is joy in Muddville -- Mighty Aaron has struck out.
Today was his first 300 yard game in a long time. His season stats are not MVP like but they are better than the Jets have had in many years. I do not like his persona but he may have played better than some fans give him credit for this season (outside of game deciding plays).

I've disliked him since he first came into league -- remember I'm a Vikes fan. Putting that aside, he should NEVER have come here, much less be able to dictate personnel and policy. Thinking he was "the piece" needed to compete for the Bowl was just plain idiocy on Woody's part. All in all, results matter and his results seem to be worse than the other, less talented QBs that we've vilified over the years.

Outside of the Oline and the coaching the Jets are kind of a riddle. In past seasons it was thought they had the playoff defense and skill players (WR1 and RB) and were just a QB away. I'm not a Rodgers fan but I understood why they went for him. I think the mistake was making it look like he was in charge of the team. Not the coaches or GM. Still if Rodgers played better in key situations the Jets would probably be at least a 500 club this season. I think Rodgers at this age really needed a Oline that could run/pass block. Question is does he come back next season?

Somebody flew a banner over the stadium asking Mara to put an end to the circus or something to that effect.

Unfortunately, I have the feeling that the disaster will continue next season.
