Was listening to Joe B and he gave the old "we picked shitty player high and other teams picked good players lower so I never root for losses". There are no guarantees but high picks still give you a better shot. You know what one guarantee is? Winning now is guaranteed to be meaningless.
A 4-8 QB will not win MVP, but Burrow leads the NFL in passing yards per game (278.1) and touchdowns (30), has only 5 picks, and ranks fourth in passer rating, behind only Lamar Jackson, Jared Goff and Tua Tagovailoa.

he’s been great but he’s had like 3 ints that basically changed their record from like 7-5 or 6-6 and still in the race to what it is now. his “clutchness” has always been massively overblown based on one game 3 years ago (where his defense made most of the major plays)

LamJax is the most overhyped, overrated player in the league. He does a great job beating up on shitty teams but when he runs into real competition like he did last weekend vs. Philly he melts.
I remember back in '91 or so telling a high school buddy of mine who is a huge Dolphins fan that the team would never win a SB with Marino because his presence married them almost exclusively to a passing oriented attack meaning they couldn't control the game. He said I was an idiot. Turns out I was right. Feel the same way about LamJax.

Well, the Lions performances have helped eased the stress from this Rangers nonsense.
I heard they have the most defensive players on IR by far in the league. I can see another easy win for the Eagles due to injuries like they had against SF two seasons ago. f***ing sucks.

Detroit is such an easy team to root for because they play the game like a mix of old school and new school teams. They block. They compete. They run and they pass. They are not just a big name QB. They seem like a real team that shows the attitude of their coach. Wish my Giants had hired Dan.

Question for Jets fans. I know many are done with Aaron Rodgers. I'm not a fan of his persona at all BUT I will ask when was the last time the Jets have had a QB with better stats?
