If we had this Jones thoughout this season, I'd probably be singing a different tune.

But alas, game where he comes through and it's our defense that shits the bed.

DJ had 4 TDs today. 3 pass (1 wiped out by a penalty (again) and the amazing run TD. His toughness reminds me of Phil Simms in some ways.

Somebody said that was the 5th TD this season wiped out by a penalty. I know we have at least 1 in 3 straight games. Think it has been 4 in the last 3 games. Maybe 5.

As bad as Evan Neal was in his first 2 seasons he was not worse than Hubbard. He was the #7 pick. We should be giving him a chance at LT or RG imo. He played today on one of our TDs.

The old Giants field was like concrete. Simms may be the toughest QB ever.

The Raiders looked pretty good to end their season last year with Pierce as their coach. They really crashed again.

Teams with garbage regular uniforms that played in their throwbacks yesterday (Eagles, Giants) and looked gorgeous. When are these dumbasses going to do the right thing and finally make the throwbacks permanent?

People in sports don't under simple math. Tiki, who I'm sure is a smart guy who went to a good school gave a ridiculous take that if he you go for 2 down 14 you go for 2 the second time. Except if you go for 2 the first time you get a chance to tie it if you miss the first time by going for 2 again, if you go for 1 the first time, you don't get that mulligan. By going for 1 the first time it's basically the same thing as going for 2 the first time and then going for 1 the second time no matter what. That's how stupid that strategy is. It's simple math and people don't understand it. How can people understand Xs and Os but not basical shit like this?

Art Stapleton who is a good media guy was trying to explain the the analytics/strategy for going for 2 point conversions but the analytics are useless because the Giants have a horrible Oline that needs to keep 7 people in to block and then still can't keep rushers out long. The percentages are much higher for teams that can block (and run the ball). The percentages are useless for teams with bad Olines.

The Jets getting flexed out back to 1 PM in two weeks made my day, the night game schedule is thankfully over.
Can't believe the NFL doesn't want Nationwide eyes on the ultimate old man QB showdown between Rodgers and Flacco?

I was getting swayed to your thought process. But the Giants suck in general so presumably they are worse than an average team if they get to OT. So while we're adjusting probability of getting 2 points on the first attempt which is fair, we also have to adjust the probability of winning in OT.

The giants sucking on offense is all the more reason to go for two.

Successfully converting can mean the difference between needing two scoring drives or 3 to win a game.

People are getting mad at the results because they failed but going for two down 14 in the fourth quarter is becoming commonplace for a reason. Success greatly increases your comeback chances while failure doesn’t really harm it that much.

Add in the fact that the Giants don’t have kickers they trust on the team and here we are.

The worst is the Tiki Barbers of the world saying they should go for 2 on the second TD. So there's no opportunity for a mulligan?
