It was really only a matter of time. Avs have looked so bad.

What an awful PP. They never got anything going, which happens often against aggressive PKs. As hard as that MacKinnon pass was, you sure would like a guy with some of the best hands on the team like Drouin to handle it. Necas was really fighting it as well.

If only we had a 2C who would help out and provide some offense because Nate looks gassed out there coming back from 4 nations and playing back to back and all. Could use some help

Even with Mikko gone the Avs have no idea how to attack an ultra aggressive PK. MacKinnon thinks stickhandling as fast as possible will throw them off. The way to beat that PK is get the puck to Makar, send two guys to the net and fire away. They're pressuring like crazy, so stop trying to make skill plays.

Yeah, massive shakeup is needed....Colton and Wood are simply existing out there. I know Mitts is despised be damn those guys as well can't handle passes or do anything remotely dangerous.

The Avs not forcing unnecessary “skill” plays is as likely as I am to move to Winnipeg in the next week

I can't remember the last time Colton had made a good play. For a feisty guy he sure looks like he's hot dogging it out there.

5 pts in his last 26 games. Absolutely hot steaming pile of garbage.
