Gauthier was gonna be a problem either way if he didn't wanna play for Torts. Drysdale has potential to be our Franchise D man for the rebuild. He's the right age.

2021 6th overall + 2nd rd for 2022 5th overall on paper is not bad. Gauthier would win too many games for us next season anyway.

And I think he's wise beyond his years. This franchise is awful at cultivating and fostering talent. Gauthier's potential just went up getting out of Philly.

For what it's worth, Drysdale has looked fabulous in his 10 games this season.

Nobody gets burned more by teams dumping worn-down players than the Flyers. Anaheim needs D. If they're shipping this guy out then they probably have no faith in his shoulder.
