I can say, with confidence, that the Rangers will announce at practice tomorrow morning that Staal is day-to-day with an upper body injury.

I'm scared to go on the main boards because everyone will think he's faking it.
Nash got hooked on that 2nd goal and was like, "Nah **** that'.
Does Nash have a goal NOT in the 3rd period?
Posted on the main boards. Look like it hit the edge of his helmet and bounced down to his upper cheek. The stills people are posting where the puck is over his eye is when it was ricocheting down. Hopefully it didn't make any contact with his eye.
Hope for the best for him. That's tough to watch.
By the way, Hartnell was acting like Hartnell but what I would do to have him on the Rangers...
This team is much faster, and better without Richards. Rid that disgusting contract this summer please...
JT Miller seems to have gotten comfortable up here. Started with two strong games, struggled, now looks like he will never see Connecticut again.
If its the upper orbital(which I think it is), as long as the eye isn't effected; It could be ok.
He may have to wear a visor when he comes back though. He may or may not be available for next game.
Agreed on all fronts. I think this is what we're looking at. If he didn't squirm I think the mood would be a little better
Notice the look in his eye when he skated off? That is pure fear of losing your eye/sight. It's scary what happened.
I don't think his eye is permanently damaged, but a broken orbital bone is brutal. Don't see him being out for a super long time though.
So much praise to Nash but it was team effort. I commend them... They did it tonight.
I think the biggest mistake was putting him at wing. He is a very good centerman.
