Flyers 2013 draft board

The Flyers just announced that they're producing a behind-the-scenes series for this season (like the Oil Change, Sabres series, etc.). First episode is this Tuesday, and it's titled "The War Room" (that is relevant to a lot of peoples interests in this section).

Anyway, in the trailer/teaser they released today, they post a shot of their draft board. Clarity isn't that great, but some on the Flyers board have made some guesses.

Here are some lists made up so far
MacKinon #1 (Certain)
Monahan #4 (possibly Nikushkin)
Ristolainen #6
Morin/Nurse #7 and 8
Morrisey #11 (possibly Wennberg)
Nikushkin #12
Horvat #14 (Certain)
Lazar #15 (Certain)
Domi #19
Shinkaruk #22 (Certain)
Hagg #25 (pretty certain)
Dickinson #29 (Certain)

These are the only ones I would put any money on. I have no clue with the others...

6 Ristolainen
7 Nurse
8 Morin
11 Morrissey
12 Nichushkin
25 Hagg

are all right from what I see.

You can't tell from this pic, but the board on the ground is goalies. They had: Fucale, Comrie, then Jarry.

Any other insight? Thought the prospects board might like this.

1. Mackinnon
2. Jones
3. Drouin
4. Nichuskhin
5. Barkov
6. Ristolainen?
7. Mantha?

I think they would have taken Mantha if he was their BPA. Flyers don't generally mess around with drafting for need, though it may appear that way with their first two picks.

I think 7 is Morin, but it could be Nurse. Both would make sense.

Cool stuff, just goes to show that team lists often differ from accepted consensus lists. Thanks for those who went through to try to find the order.

Wish more teams did this

Interesting they had Shinkaruk at #22 when even though he went #24 overall, he was thought of a steal at that point. Obviously more than one team didn't have him as high as thought.

Interesting Bowey is at 52...again thought as a steal.

Top name on the right hand side of the lowest sheet looks like Hogberg?

#11 definitely is Morrissey...the name starts with an M and ends with a y.

#29 looks like Burakovsky to me...you can see a B and a fairly long name. Could be Dickinson though, the B and D is pretty close...

Also interesting that #9 is crossed out, which tells me this might not be the final list.

Holy smokes Mueller looks high. Maybe the Sharks weren't so wrong to move up the 2 spots just to get him?

1. MacKinnon
2. Jones
4. Nichushkin
6. Ristolainen
7. Nurse
8. Morin
9. Mueller
11. Morrisey
14. Horvat
15. Lazar

is what I can make out

Interesting that they had Morin, Mueller and Morissey above Ristolainen and Zadorov, considering most of the prospect publications had the latter two higher.

They must have been happy when Hagg fell to them at #41.

I bet they would have taken Nichushkin at #11 as well. There was talk of them really liking him.

It looks like Ristolainen is at #6 doesn't it? and Zadorov seemed to be way down the list.

There was a thread last week with the Flyers pre-draft board (which was shown in the preview for the series).

That was here: http://hfboards.mandatory.com/showthread.php?t=1479587

But tonight they posted the first episode of the series, titled "The War Room". It shows the Chris Pryor (Director of Scouting) and the scouts talking about the players who were targets at #11 (where they were picking).

Some really interesting stuff in it. It's obvious they were/are extremely high on Samuel Morin. They had him #6 on their board.

Enjoy!
