I haven't blamed Keefe once this year, but time for him to pull the fire alarm on the way things are right now.

I think when healthy he can do more to start games well by getting Jack and Nico extra shifts in the first period than roll 4 lines straight away. But I’m not sure what he can do right now. You can’t play Jack 60 minutes a night.

They need centers! Saad doesn’t do anything. I don’t want MacDermid playing other, but I rather call up Nemec and go 11/7 to get him out. That gets Jack extra shifts.

blaming the only guys who are the ones who consistently play well. if Fitz put together a better bottom six it would make those guys job easier. Instead the guys in the bottom six are a drag 5v5 and those top 6 guys are also better on the PK as well. Somehow a season after icing Chris Tierney for 52 games he didn't learn his lesson and the Devils have played Justin Dowling for 34 games and counting.

Jack/Bratt/Nico do not need to consistently play amazing, but they need to score more when it counts, in the moments that matter, like the beginning of this game.

Just shut the up. Jack and Bratt are the only line going right now. Nico obviously isn’t even in the lineup. If you don’t have center depth beyond one line you aren’t going to score 5v5. This isn’t about our top player being “mentally weak.”

Put up the points or shut the F up. Don't care about corsi and advanced stats. Score more or you're just another guy

Halfway though the season: OMG, Sumeer of Fitz! We have the best defense in the NHL and the offense ibuzzing!

10 games later: Fitz didn't address any of our needs. Team sucks.

they should be embarassed. They learned defensive structure and thought they were gold.
Then it all fell apart when they faced some adversity and now they're stick gripping. MENTALLY WEAK

I mean tbf this team has been boring most of the year lol. Even when they were playing well it wasn’t super entertaining hockey to watch

The other thing about the lack of center depth is that Mercer and Dowling getting cratered 5v5 puts Jack behind the 8 ball ice position wise when he steps on the ice. It’s all interconnected. You have to have your depth guys win their minutes to out your top guys in a better position when they get out there.

The offense was never buzzing. The PP was sure but 5v5 this team was been mediocre at best
