I actually LOL'ed, well done.
I'd like to know what was said. But it is ironic that people whose job and livelihood includes slagging people in print and in person are now on the opposite end of it all and expecting an apology.

Sports reporters can be very thin skinned and if reporters haven't come forward with what was said yet I have a hard time thinking it was overly heinous.

A flyers staff member said “how many times is she going to ****ing ask that” in response to a reporter asking the same question many times, that’s the whole story.

That’s a) generalizing b) within the scope of their job, like it or not. Being pissy is kinda the opposite of what a PR team should do.
In 99.99999% of circumstances it's usually the sensitive sports reporter. Or reporter in general for that matter.

If they are firing anyone in the PR department it should be Gritty. Flyers mascot should be some sort of road kill because that is what this organization is right now

that isn't really super offensive, but it's incredibly unprofessional and that's why an apology was made.
it's a small thing that, when combined with answering that you didn't know why cutter gauthier skipped development camp, would make me a bit worried regarding the competance of the flyers upper management post-fletcher, particularly when they seemingly helped LA out of the petersen contract for nothing.
