There's something about the way people say "be better" in response to online controversy that just rubs me the wrong way. It's so condescending and holier-than-thou. One of my pet peeves.
It bugs me extra because anyone using that is just going with the current buzz phrase and can’t even form their own words.

You 2 really need to stay in your lane and leave the commentary to your betters

Or something.

It annoys me because I was using that phrase before it was trendy to do so and now I have to come up with some other way to demonstrate my essential moral superiority.

:sarcasm:
Are you saying now you need to be better,?

Just be like Mike. Tell them that farm to table is bullshite, that you don't have to be better because you're better than them, and that somebody DID die and leave you in charge.

Failing that go middles out and say "you do you"

If anything, there should be a dedicated team of people who spout rude retorts to every question asked before the players and staff get to answer in polite fashion.

Might make me watch hockey interviews again.

Tortorella can fill both roles for his interviews.

GG, thank you for the content. No one was offended by this. We understand we aren't studpid. Philly is getting soft if they're starting to apologize for saying the f word.

Oh it’s fake outrage. 98% of people really don’t care but pretend they do to gather up those precious brownie points.
Looks like the only people outraged are the snowflakes upset that the Flyers issued an apology for the unprofessional conduct of a PR person. Ironic, isn't it?

Of all the things a PR person has to do, NOT vocalizing their thoughts of a stupid remark is, like, the biggest thing they have to do. It's like taking your dog to the vet to get her spayed and the vet returns her to you pregnant instead.
