My point is that as expected every team the Oilers beat were garbage because it was the Oilers who beat them. by that logic the Panthers beating them is actually no great shakes at all because the Oilers were just a crappy team that made the Finals, nes pas?
Like LOL. It took the Panthers 7 games to beat the shitty Oiler? Worst cup champ ever!!
That’s how this logic goes right?

The Rangers actually threw fewer elbows and knees than the Oilers, despite having Trouba out there. Now that's just pathetic. Do better next time, Rangers.

Yes, the real Cup finals was played in the Eastern Finals.

Sorry Panthers fans, the Oilers are actually trash so your Cup is now meaningless. That's just how HF logic rolls.

Lmao the Rangers were only there because of their goaltending and even then he could only do so much.

For those of you talking which team had an easier road to the cup, Oilers did.

Heck, Oilers played Kings in first round. A team that gets destroyed in first round for 10 years. And Van wasnt healthy. Demko was out the entire playoffs except for one nashville game.

Florida playing NYR, BOS, TB is much harder than DAL, VAN, LA. NYR was the best team in the league.

Two patsies and a Rangers team that didn't even try to win.

But in the grand scheme of things all of that is irrelevant because you can only play who's in front of you. It's just annoying that because the Oilers beat these teams suddenly they aren't very good. Dallas especially.

Statistically they are dead even. NYR (114), BOS (109), TB (98) vs DAL (113), VAN (109), LA (99).

At best, that's marginally harder.
