Florida Panthers completely changing jersey (logo leaked post 661)

Perhaps change the red to a maroon/deep red, make the yellow a shade darker, and remove the blue? This would then match the Florida state flag. I think it'd be pretty cool.

I think that's a ballsy move and I like it. But with their current colour scheme, it'll be impossible not to make it look like it was designed by a child.

This is my biggest problem with the colour scheme. Three primary colours just screams kindergarten classroom to me. It's not fitting of any sports team, even a rec league team.

I don't understand how people can hate the Florida Panthers logo but then love the Blackhawks logo. To me, the Panthers logo is one of the better logos in the game.

They're doing a complete makeover but keeping the old color scheme? That's what I've always hated the most. Too much going on. Just choose one primary and one secondary and stick to it.

Primary is red. Secondary is navy. I don't understand the confusion.

I was a huge fan of the original Panthers jersey. Classic and sweet. I have one myself. Then Reebok came along and well there it went. All these crappy patches and lines going every which way. Hope they go back to the original somewhat.

This speaks volumes as to the brand situation here in South Florida.

If I was in the board room or have had the GM ear over the years I would have drafted or acquired heavy hitters, the top bangers, and focussed on energy and close games (free home game tickets to anyone who have bought tickets to games we've won, lost in extra time, OT or by no more than one goal).

I cannot think of a less competent NHL management team than the Florida Panthers over the last decade and a half.

The Beezer, Bure... and .... and...? Bah.
