They were fine with Vesey. They weren't thrilling but they outscored opponents by a lot.

Kreider doesn't have a 5v5 goal since Noah built the arc and he's really good at that. I'm blaming Roslovic, sorry.

I'm not absolving Rozlovic, but those 2 have had too many chances together this season with a different 3rd man.

Again, another knock on Lavy and his unwillingness to break up lines, pairings.

He did it earlier in the season and he should have kept them seperated.

Put Vesey with Kreider and Mika. Roslovic is weak on the puck and disappears too often. If they aren't going to play Rempe then play Edstrom on the 4th line. I think he can handle it.

These games should be a wake up call. We basically can beat anyone or lose to anyone. If this team really thinks they can win a cup they are going to have to put the work in because they are not going to out talent many of the playoff teams.

Trouba was 90%-ish paired with miller yet he gave up (a team-high) 17 chances while miller gave up only 11.

So as bad as Miller was tonight eye-test-wise, Trouba was much more badder. He’s going to sink us.

The D looked like a steaming pile of whatsit, and while you know that he won't change it, Stevie Wonder could see that 79-8 is horrific and will bleed us goals on a nightly basis. I could have given him a bit of rope if it was Gallant who had paired KAM with Schneider before his tenure, but he he did it literally a couple of weeks ago and KAM didn't look like a worse version of Stu Bickel, they both looked great. Absolutely infuriating.

The good news is that Gabe is gonna take over from Bread in four years while Mika is still here and putting up 3 points a season 5v5.

The far more telling numbers involve Trouba, not Rempe. Rempe's playing time coincides with Trouba being out, but you believe Rempe is a driving force on the Rangers.
