I had hoped. Sell or if need be, stand pat even. No need to throw good money after bad. If you bought a lemon that you can barely keep running….realize it. Don’t go get rims and headers for it.

None of this surprises me and I wouldn’t even doubt that he gets some heat from Rolf behind the scenes about building a contender so he feels forced into making certain moves.

The moves last year were bipolar. Not enough for Hayes. Peer and Mancini made zero sense. As long as McParlan is the gm, I don’t think you’ll ever see a rebuild.

Yeah I'm ready to move on from McParlan. I was happy until the deadline last year and it's just been downhill from there. It just seem like they're content to be stuck in purgatory, never awful but never good enough to be a top seed. It's always something with this team lol

He hasn’t been given a lot of icetime in Flint but when he has, Zurawski has been very good for a 16yo. I’d put his abilities, skillset and style at 16 right up there near Othmann.

He looked very good Wednesday paired with Mbuyi.

That’s good if he does report. Not a fan of the trade but I do like the player. If McParlan is/was forced to move him today he’d likely lose out so it’s better if he reports. Even better if he returns for an OA season which I’m thinking might be unlikely. We’ll see.

Yeah. The pick situation could be better but it wasn’t decimated. 4 2nds and 10 3rds available as of now. Should be able to flip some 3rds for 2nds down the road. Sucks to lose an ‘08 like Zurawski though. He won’t be easy to replace and to be honest I wish they could have just declared him defected and added picks plus an additional 1st next year. I’d imagine he was pissed off about playing time and to be honest I can’t blame him. Glad to see him in Owen Sound at least though.
