The temper tantrums have just been at another level and his shift to shift consistency, effort and production has been lackluster at best. He’s the……most dangerous?……player in the league but I can completely believe and see what you’re saying. My thing is though? This team isn’t doing any real damage in the post season with Cranley in net. Either fix the goaltending, move everything (Hamilton/Guelph style) to go for it or sell and have the most potent group of 16 and 17yo’s in the league.

Wrister from total scrub 17yo off his glove or through his arm and body or under his pads to make it 4-2 then another floater to make it 4-3. Now it’s on. Versus a team they are far superior to they’ve been outplaying all night. He’s gotta go. I’m sorry. Upgrade Cranley or sell. He’s taking you nowhere. Upgrade. Or sell all your stud 19 and 20yo’s. Land 2 16yo first rounders, a couple decent 17yo’s and 15 picks. Then prepare to rip this league apart for two years in a couple years.

Othmann suspended for the next two. I assume the league deemed him firing the puck into the Sting bench was intentional. I think it’s possible one major difference between this team and last year’s is the lack of quality leadership this year.

Was crazy that Flint thought they could bring him in to be a #1. For as bad as you guys say he's been this year, he was way worse last year as an NHL drafted 19 year old goalie. .873 save % last year, which was bottom 5 in the whole league

I guess we'll see who they get in return, just can't see them getting anything near as good as Othmann for this season. Whether he wore out his welcome or not, he was still one the elite players in the league this season.

It's pretty hard to trade Othmann and get better. Not impossible, but very hard

I don't think anyone expects Flint to be better tomorrow after trading Othmann.

But could give him the needed ammo to make moves to get better in December or at the deadline.

Rumour is they're getting Guryev+picks. If that is true, it must be a lot of picks as Guryev is also in his last season (likely, although not signed by SJ yet) and a nut on the ice and can't stay on the ice from constantly getting suspended

there may have been a roit in the room if this didnt happen. hes been an issue since half way through last year, coach let him do it and gave him the c.
