And you are ???You’re a donkey millpond.. stay off other teams threads
Flint played a good game against us and a split in a playoff series is what has made the playoffs exciting to watch should be a good series to back in OS these teams are so evenly matchedNice couple of games...teams are pretty even...I think a long series on the way....Attack got the split they wanted, heading home with home ice advantage....let's see what happens Monday!
One thing about this Attack squad, they don't quit.Better. After yet another soft one to start, Cavallin started to look more like the Luke Cavallin we saw for most of the season. If he plays like game 1, they are gonna be very hard pressed to come out of this series. They’re now heading to one of the toughest barns to play in the league. Flint also had the best road record in the league, so it should be interesting. OS is VERY good at getting sticks and bodies in lanes. Put the puck on net and go after rebounds. Chenard is big and positionally sound but not the most athletic. When he goes down he doesn’t get up fast and has wound up sat on his butt multiple times. He’s slow post to post, has been beat on wraparounds and almost had a couple more go in on him. Flint has been banging them pretty good the first two and that will pay dividends as the series goes on. Been a lot of time with Attack players laying on the ice and only missing a shift or two. That’ll add up though. Othmann, quit being in Woolley’s face. You don’t want that. Don’t force a teammate into that needlessly either. I think it’s mostly down to Cavallin getting back to his game. If he makes the saves we’re used to seeing him do and doesn’t let in any soft ones, those first two games are 3-1 and 6-0 late in the 3rd. Oh. One more thing that pissed me the F off the moment it happened. With 5 and change to go late in the 3rd and Flint up 6-1 they announced playoff tickets for Game 5 were now on sale. Then OS quickly makes it 6-3. They put one more in quick and it’s EN situation with two minutes to go. Don’t do that unless they’re up by 5+ with less than two minutes left. It’s hockey. Crazy stuff happens. Ask Ottawa.
I think he was scratched after warmups. Petrou is in and he was the designated extra taking warmups. Must be banged up.Where’s Bertucci?
Hmmm what?Hmm. No assist on the Flint goal. Two assists on each of the Attack’s goals?
I saw him at the rink in a suit, someone asked if he was hurt, he said no.I think he was scratched after warmups. Petrou is in and he was the designated extra taking warmups. Must be banged up.
I think he stripped the puck off an Attack player turned and fired, so no other Firebird touched the puck after the turnover, but him.Hmm. No assist on the Flint goal. Two assists on each of the Attack’s goals?
He doesn't watch the games, just looks at the box score and makes comments.I think he stripped the puck off an Attack player turned and fired, so no other Firebird touched the puck after the turnover, but him.
It was a great goal from a bad angle .
I was at the game . Where were you sitting ?He doesn't watch the games, just looks at the box score and makes comments.
I'm talking about the who made the original comment.I was at the game . Where were you sitting ?
I work more than full- time and have a handicap 7 year old. I do not have the time nor the money to attend every home game or pay for every away game on tv as some of you, in addition to living far away. Thank you Millpond for describing the play on the Flint goal.He doesn't watch the games, just looks at the box score and makes comments.
We in Owen Sound have fingers crossed that Othmann is OK tomorrow night.I work more than full- time and have a handicap 7 year old. Clearly I don’t think it was a concussion if it was. the protocol is to go down in a dark roomWe in Owen Sound have fingers crossed that Othmann is OK tomorrow night.
I couldn't see the hit from my vantage point but apparently it was about 5 feet from the boards, and he was down a long time .
Rightfully so they didn't move him till assessed .
He did not leave the game, but never played the last 5 mins in the 2nd.
He sat on the bench for a long time with his head down.
It sure looked like he got his bell rung by his actions, and when he finally went off long after the intermission started, he skated very gingerly and 'tested ' his left shoulder into the glass.
He played sparingly in the 3rd, on the blueline and steered clear of any contact or traffic .
I don't know if it was shoulder, concussion ir both.
The staff left him on the bench on his own ..weird
Given he's the franchise player, I hope he's OK.
It’s pretty dark in the Bayshore.Clearly I don’t think it was a concussion if it was. the protocol is to go down in a dark room
Yes, but nearly nearly as often as I’d like to. Wish I could be up there for these games.Have you been?
