I’ve seen bits of his game on video that why I said I don’t know. Just like Hagens or Misa, just bits, and just going by ranking.

I think it’s hard to judge these kids because seen so little video. Now, I have watched every Hab game so more confident commenting on existing nhl guys.

It’s so tough, wherever they pick I hope they hit a home run

OK fair enough.

Just nice to know we have legitimate potential help on the way. Might not always look great on the NHL level at times, but the entire picture of the rebuild has yet to be revealed.

We have much to look foward to imo.

This team needs more mental toughness. They only started really playing after Anderson scored. They need to play with that effort and intensity for a full 60 minutes.

At least Hutson scored finally, and Slaf looks good on the 1st line. Laine needs a real center because Newhook and Dach ain't cutting it.

Dvo working on that trade value hehe, that's good to see

Monty kept them in it for sure
The team is very weak mentally. A clinical theory-oriented sport psychologist doesn't cut it. You need someone who understands sports and athletes well.

It is sad that people have been reduced to just being happy with a good effort. Someone on another forum said it very well. They are professional athletes that are getting paid a ton of money for playing around 20 minutes every 2-3 days. The effort is non-negotiable. Every shift should be played like it's their last. Yes, good effort tonight sure... but the issue that team too often doesn't play with 100% or doesn't play the entire game with 100% effort or flat out quits. And that's absolutely inexcusable and everyone from coaches to players should somehow be held accountable.

Anyway... just venting... knowing that not much will change... good to see Hutson finally score. Kid is legit and hopefully one day he'll get to play on a good team.

Did MSL warn the players that Jets PP is ranked top 3 ? Did MSL stress the importance of not taking stupid penalties against Jets ?
Will there be consequences for taking stupid penalties?

Montreal is now number 1 in goal differential if you are looking up from bottom to top

Dach a complete non factor again. I doubt anything changes in his game this season.

Maybe something clicks in the summer before next season and he finds his game again.
Not a particularly great skater before his injury, some players never fully recover from ACL surgery.

Dach has lost whatever jump he had before that unfortunate injury.

I found he was fast in that he glided up the ice and was fast at doing so. Post-injury, not so much.

If he can't get that step back, I don't think he'll be a top 6 player.

Yea, if the team sport psychologist is the same guy that was being very cringe during the draft interviews on "the rebuild" show, then that would explain a lot
