On the SNET they had a camera behind the net and it looked to me like Montoya simply fell over and couldn't get up in time. Terrible goal.

The real turning point of this abortion of a game was when the refs didn't call an obvious pick on Buff by the Flames that instead of a 5-3 for the Jets resulted in a Flames goal. Literally a text book example of breaking the rules to score a goal and the idiot officials just smiled and skated to centre ice like they drank too much.

Of all the teams to lose to, they lose again to this AHL team and just stick a dagger in me. FML.

If we'd lost in regulation that would have been the season, as far as I'm concerned. This is a bit better, but what a way not to put a game away that they should have won easily. The weirdest goaltending I've seen in a long time, with both goalies alternating between excellent and embarrassing in almost exactly the same way.

I've never been a fan of Kane but always respected his ability. Now I'm not so sure I even really respect that very much. Little on the other hand ...

Honestly you can blame the referees all you want but if the Jets are supposed to be a playoff team they're supposed to win these games anyways.

Absolutely brutal goaltending by Montoya, I don't think Noel is going to start him again for a looong time. Really needed these two points as it's almost a guarantee they'll lose to the Hawks on Thursday.

Where does it lead if goalies use a lot of stick-work?

It's not like he's the second-coming of Hextall, but I saw at least 5 non-calls on Berra.

How can a player be both protected by rule, and immune from penalty calls? Someone with a short fuse will make him pay. Just sayin'.

Worst job I've seen by referees this year. I don't think I've ever commented on officials post-game in my life, but this one stunk.

Excellent experience on social media.

Able to sit in the press box if needed but may whine to press.

Can skate in a straight one very quickly.

Exciting game, crappy result. The interference no call was almost unbelievable. Glad we got a point, but we really needed more.

A point is a point ....is a point....is a point. Considering we tied it with 6 seconds left it seemed we were destined to win. Too bad we didn't win it but we played a very good game at imes. Nice to see Frolik and Joki score. Buff was a beast tonite. What a clutch goal by Little. Our usual problem was being unable to get the puck out at times. We deserved a better fate but got the point. It's amazing how our team is able to come from behind.

I hate blaming reffing, always chide people when they do it. But:

Buff gets the double minor at the end of the 2nd?
No-call on the interference on Buff for the shorty?
Buff gets elbowed by the goalie and no call?
Little says nothing apparantly, just shakes his head and thus gets a misconduct?

Come on, man.

Montoya for full time starter, he did after all, shut out NJ one time.

Montoya was playing well at the time and Pavelec wasn't. Bad game by Montoya tonight for sure but I assume you're going to stop talking as soon as Pavelec starts playing poorly again.

Not a stellar performance from the stripes tonight.

2 deflections , non interference call played a part in the loss no?

I mean four goals as a team.

The second deflection didn't really matter. The net was wide open with Monty making pretty snow angels for all the fans to see.

"Didn't say a word. I just shook my head at him on the way to the bench"

- Little on the 10 min misconduct

I dont know if i believe that story, sure there were a few f bombs to go along with that shake.
