23/24 6-5-2
22/23 7-5-1
21/22 7-5-1
We were actually 7-4-2 last year. And there's a big difference...

2023-2024: 6-5-2, 49.04 xGF% (20th)
2022-2023: 7-4-2, 55.00 xGF% (6th)
2021-2022: 7-5-1, 55.08 xGF% (3rd)

One of these things is not like the others.

In past years, it was things like goalie injuries/struggles, unsustainable conversion struggles, and some bad breaks dragging our early record down.
This year, we're just straight up playing like garbage.

I sort of miss drinking at sporting events. About the only chance I get is in Dunedin and I don’t do that as often as I once did.
I usually drive down so only have a couple pints at dinner and then that's it for the night.
I go to watch the game, see so many who spend much of their night up and down from their seats getting drinks and hitting the can that they miss a lot of the game.
4 of us are heading down tonight, taking the train UBER home so we'll have a few. If the Crown Royals are on special, it could get ugly.

I hope you have fun and stay safe.

The cost of booze at sporting events has gotten out of hand. Last year it cost $20 (with a $1 )tip for two 16 oz cans in Dunedin. Seemed like they were $5.50-$6.50 for years.

Boo them extra loud if they have another disgraceful performance tonight

Good thing is it's a Friday game. Even if you get drunk tonight, you still have rest of the weekend to recover

Headed to Queens on Victoria Park with a designated Halal friend....everyone needs a halal friend. Feel like having some old fashioned

As for the game.. if we don't win tonight, keefe will hear what Wilson once heard... his days are numbered

My 4 tickets so the other 3 will foot the bill for the night. I'll still come out on the short end, but all good. Do it a few times a season, always have a good time.

We'll be safe, too old to get into trouble.

I'm a seasoned vet, I'll be fine no need to recover.
Eastern Final plus Leafs Saturday at some friends in Vaughan and NFL Sunday at a buddys, no time to rest.

I rest at my desk Monday to Friday(if I'm not golfing)

This will be a good game for Woll to get some confidence back. I think we will see two much better defensive efforts from the Leafs tonight and tomorrow.

Hopefully Zadorov doesn’t hurt any of his future teammates tonight. Also hopefully we can keep Kadri off the scoresheet but with our luck against ex-Leafs he’s bound to get the first goal of the game

13 games into the season and they decide to work on D. Team is not winning with Keefe leading this bunch.
What would you have them do ? Work on the powerplay some more ? The D has been atrocious for the past like 2-3 weeks, of course they're gonna work on it.

Agree about the Keefe part though, he's gotta go man.

I think the point they were making was they always should have been working on defense.

I get why they are doing it now but I would have expected them to focus on D this in pre-season so they had a clue to start the season and we would not be crossing this bridge today. Truth is, they have been chasing their cookies for years and criticized for their lack of puck management. This is nothing new which speaks volumes to me.

Always seemed pretty obvious the guy wasn't 100%. Watch him live and it's pretty apparent he labors out there.
I'm not a Doctor but I play one at home and I'd say he has some type of Hip issue.

Big weekend games, we will be lucky to win 1 of them. Flames are discombobulated but have good goaltending. If Mark.. is in we have potential trouble. We struggle against good goalies.
Vancouver is playing well and even when they aren't they play us hard and usually beat us.
I could envision 2 loses easily.
