based on current AAV Nylander (7) and Marner (11); lets just say marner isn't 4AAV better than nylander.

Marner IMO should be getting a pay cut; and if that doesn't happen I dont blame Willy for telling Treliving to F-OFF

I mean we immediately get 4AAV cap relief if JT agrees to waive the NTC/NMC; then after Kadri's time is done he can be put on Robidas island when he is 35/36.

It may be true but I highly doubt Kyper actually has that kind of inside information.
That’s likely his personal opinion that he is stating as fact.

As a Lions fan... Trust me, some teams shouldn't try it. The Leafs are one of them; the league would take "they can't call everything" as a challenge if the Leafs played like that consistently.

absolutley the over payment to Marner is a Problem - and i dont blame Willy if he plays hard ball ... he has been disrespcted by the past GM and that may haunt the contract negotiations

Watching Nylander this season and seeing that Matthews 13.5 mil for 4 years signing just annoys me so much more. Why wouldn’t Willy be worth 10x8 years relative to what Matthews got? Anyway, it is what it is I guess. If after everything he is the only collateral of the core 4, it’s unfortunate
