As bad as that roughing penalty was. I'm actually proud our team has a player capable of roughing someone.

I don't mind the roughing penalty. The Leafs need to be physical like that.

Hopefully it sets the tone for the rest of the team to pick it up in the physical department.

I don’t mind it either. Kill the penalty, play tough

You’re not going too have many games where you’re never on the PK.

Make them count at least, and they won’t call the stupid shit on you cause they’re too scared to make it unfair or imbalanced.

That’s how Boston gets away with it

It's like the Paul Maurice era all over again. Defense and goaltending are nowhere to be found.

One has an 855 save% on the season, the other has an 858 the last 4 games.

I'm not blaming the defense for that.

That means the guy in net isn't doing his job.

So it's the leauges fault leafs don't play "rough". 😂
Weak ass call
It pretty much is. It's been mentioned multiple times by multiple people; when the Leafs pick up more physical players and they start playing in TO the way they always have, they end up in the penalty box repeatedly until they stop playing their physical games. It's entirely because for some reason I don't fully understand, the league still has a picture of the Leafs from 2000 to 2004 stuck in their heads and they're deathly afraid the Leafs might start playing like that again. They've even insisted that incarnation of the Leafs is one of the "dirtiest teams of all time"...

Wtf you want them to do? Play net too? That was Wolls fault ad nobody elses.
I'll try one last time. I am stating it is primarily Woll's fault. That was a horrendous rebound.

However, if you have played at a decent level or coached to those levels, the lines are also going to get an earful on what they could've done to not be in that spot from the get-go. Simple as that.
