Seems short?
Paying Ekblad, Weegar, and Knight all come first considering all of the young wingers we have.Term is okay with fans? The money looks right as a neutral party but figured you'd want 4-5 years
For Sam I would agree. He’s 25 so this does take him to 28. After 3 years since he finished his elc you should know what he is.Seems short?
is he though or did he just walk into a golden situation with a franchise center, winger and defenseman already in place and figuring out the rest is just the easy part
Thought it was only going to be a year according to some Buffalo fans...
Lundell and Denisenko will be playing for essentially 1M each. Barkov will get 10. Hornqvist will be shipped out and the remaining number will be 3 forwards and 1 D man for about 9M.Good deal for both sides but how is Florida going to keep Barkov after this? They're currently projected to have $14.5 million of cap space in 22-23 to sign Barkov, five other forwards and a defenseman.

Can we stop to appreciate that the Panthers, of all teams, have gotten super serious and assembled a bulldozer? Damn Florida, you scary!

Huberdeau and Weegar in 2 years remain the biggest concerns not Barkov.

Fair question. The hope is that Barkov takes a team friendly deal and we have some good prospects knocking on the door both on defense and up front so the expectation is they will step in on cheaper rookie deals to fill out the roster.Good deal for both sides but how is Florida going to keep Barkov after this?
