Unions are too powerful now this is why this is happening in my opinion. NMC clauses are killing teams and fans bases are getting pissed.

A clause the team could use against a player is its nullified if they ask for a trade. NMC was designed to protect the player from the team, and not to hold them hostage.

Congratulations, a team that has struggled for 9 years broke through. Wow! Florida has been to 3 finals and won 2 cups. Convenient you forgot. And they also just reloaded their talent pool.

Sort of like how Florida struggled for years and finally broke through in 2024

East is 100% going to run through FLA and CAR for at least the next couple seasons unless Kucherov/Vasi can figure out how to be consistent in the playoffs again

Montreal also isn’t too far behind there. Florida for sure has the smallest window but their window is legit. I just think this premature it’s over for Florida thing is hilarious

Depends, we're not even sure who's going to be in goal for FLA

I'm taking Bussi over Bobrovsky in a 7 game series without hesitation
Bussi has played one year in the NHL, we’ll see how he is when the book is out next year. We’ve seen this so many times. Taking him over Bob is wild lol unless you believe he’s cooked from age.

I think it is a bit of an over payment but one thing is for sure....the Panthers are a better team tonight and the Sens are a weaker team....I think Florida is likely heading back to the cup injuries notwithstanding....

That's exactly why he's cooked, he's at the age where you just fall off a cliff and it started last year, the team in front of him was worse but he was also very clearly declining

I mean I can agree that he may very well be cooked, but going with Bussi and Kochetkov is a little concerning but the hurricanes have a very strong D that limits chances so that helps
