Hamonic has until Friday to decide if he will opt out of the season/retire .

This will then free up another 3 mil per year with the Canucks if he does so.

They already have 16 mil of space but Hughes/Pettersson will undoubtedly eat that up.

What are some trading options the Canucks can do to fix the Right Side Defence assuming they have 3-4 mil in cap space.

Also, who are some Right Shot Dmen that might be hitting the waivers before the season starts?

*Basically anybody not considered part of the core*

Rangers have Hajek, who was a top prospect, looked all world for 4 games, then injured his shoulder, then they effed up developing him back.

If this guy had never shown anything at any time I would say, yeah,
he's an overrated bust.

But I don't get the impression this is like a G who had an injury that directly dminishes his reaction time or something critical like that.

I get the feeling if this guy finds the right place he can be productive.

He's cheap.
And since he can't go thru waivers without being claimed,
and we don't want to let him go for nothing,
we would prob have one of our higher rated guys start w/mo mins in the A.

But first decent offer, no quibbling, he goes.

NYR 4th, 5th, and 6th + Hajek for VAN 2nd

The Rangers, just trade Georgiev or Strome and there's the capspace.
correction
trade Geo AND Strome
