I'm not too worried about Aho. We'll be typing his name in all caps with several Os soon enough.
ROFL at Tripp rambling about things that probably shouldn't be said and John trying to shut him up.
I’ll hold you accountable for the opening road trip
Eh, they got a fluky goal off a blind shot that wasn't anybody's fault. We dominated that game from pretty much start until they pulled the goalie.
Yeah, but we don't usually win glove high contests. All 3 goals last night were #glovehigh and Cam wasn’t even in net. Discuss.
the best part about this early season success is that there are so many guys we can look at right now and say we're due for more from. Faulk, Aho, Stempniak (obv.), Rask are a few of those guys. this team last season couldn't win games without doing everything right. it seems like there's a little more to this one.
This ain't no fooling around?This ain't a disco
Another thing. The Flames announcers couldn't say enough about the speed of the Canes and about the Slavin-Pesce pairing. They repeated multiple times that the (I think) Flames coach saying that Slavin-Pesce was one of the top 5 pairings in the NHL and part way through the game, the said they agreed with that.
Really liked how Darling looked in this game, I felt safe with him in the net
dont worry, i'm creating the threadReally liked how Darling looked in this game, I felt safe with him in the net
Overall we just outworked them and our forcheck was fantastic
Slavin and Peesh are just amazing
Let`s get a point out of Stars game and I will be very happy about this roadtrip
Call me old-fashioned, but I like a man in net who can make me feel safe.

I think the lines are getting close but I'm not quite a fan of Aho/Rask/Lindholm. Wasn't a fan of McGinn with Skinner and Ryan either. That line should be much better if you replace McGinn with Stempniak, though. I really like the 4th line with Jooris, such a legit 4th line. That's exactly what I was thinking Vagrant. The lack of games to start the season has, IMO, really made it difficult for this team to get any rhythm. Peters is still juggling lines around and some of the players have yet to get going, but they are finding ways to get wins/points. Team defense is really rounding into form and both goalies have played well for the most part.
