Maybe we've already been in it and we're watching new fans adding to the pileup.Aren't we all sitting in it?

Will Arnett narrating is worth the price of admission alone for me. I might buy a GMC truck after this series.
We see Dubas getting really pissed off in the trailer, which is tantalizing.
Pretty much guaranteed that Dubas quote is out of context. He's probably talking about some catering company that's late with the food.
I try not to publicly spout out about my fandom allegiance etc but I actually told myself I would give it about 15 days post UFA opening, look at the roster and see how I felt about the roster. With a couple of days to go, I don't feel particularly great about the roster so I will be cancelling my cable for the upcoming season, I can only speak with my wallet + tv rating.
So in a couple days I will be dropping off the Leafs forums and be mostly in the Chicago one as they're my second favorite team, I will also be catching other teams this season just to brush up my knowledge even more on the rest of the season. I tend to vary it up during the year and watch other teams anyway but this will be on a new level. Only thing is Western conference teams will be tougher to catch except for weekends.
In short though, am I curious? No, I simply don't care. I don't think Dubas is capable of assembling a team that has any potential for success. I'm sure some posters will be happy that I screwed off though![]()
"What happened behind closed doors is what your gonna want to see"........ reminds me of the "leafs are acquiring a big name, big promise player" rumor
Desperately trying to keep leafs fans attention after yet another disastrously bad ending.
I’m sure the Leaf management had a say in the final edits to make sure none of that happens.there is the very real possibility of some players to look incredibly bad on this, some who may have attitude issues wont be able to hide it the whole time. Some who seemingly dont like to take responsibility could look rally bad with a perception of their attitude already pretty negative with the fanbase. OR they will all come of totally likeable
My guess is they choose to have the opposite approach of what Torts does by not throwing the team or individuals under the bus to the media. Im sure the conversations behind the scenes are much different than the crap we get in the post season pressers. At least I hope they are. I would think Shanahan would would be fuming when talking to the team after these upsets and not acting like its all sunshine and rainbows. The guy was a fiery player when he played. If Marner isn't getting reamed out for his performance these last 2 playoffs, I'll be pissed.Apparently he is losing patience with the team and the losing according to the video. Can't say I disagree with that sentiment.
In public he portrays as if everything is fine and going as planned, but behind closed doors his attitude represents Leaf nation fans better at the moment.
Hi fellow Leafs fans!
I just stumbled across the first preview for the Amazon Prime TV show, following the Leafs season. It's called All or Nothing, premiering on October. Looks decent enough! I thought this was interesting to share with you.

When your GM says: He does not know what is going to happen.. eeeek.. not a good look. Not that anyone can predict the future but as a GM, you should not admit that the ship is running directionless with out a rudder. Leaders are supposed to know what direction they are headed in.
One player quote... you gotta find that belief to fight... either you have the will to compete and fight or you don't , it's not a thing you find in the sock drawer. Translation, you've lost the will to compete and need to find a reason why to compete. Would Gordie Howe ever say you gotta find the belief to fight? Would Mark Messier ever say you goatta find the will to compete?
WTF is Keefe doing telling his team, "I think we are slipping here." Atta boy plant that seed of doubt in their heads that the other team is taking over the game/series. There are better ways to get the team focused on their jobs then to coach through doubt. Like Hyman, get on their D faster, boys watch the neutral zone don't let anyone come through uncontested, D - boys one and out. Centers Danault is cheating on the face off, make sure the ref knows and maybe hack his wrists by accident if he cheats again. Matty watch the blocker side, goalie seems to be favoring his glove tonight. Simmonds we need more traffic in front of the net. D1 looks like he is hurt, pressure him hard in the corners. Like give them instructions don't install fear in them for F sakes OHL coaching again.
I would love to see Trotz/Quenneville in the locker room.
Maybe I'm making a mountain out of a mole hill, but the devil is in the details of what they don't say while they are saying something.

Ok...it looks like people in this thread have no idea what this Amazon series is.
First of all, Amazon has been doing this series for 6 years now. They've done it with much bigger clubs than the Leafs - ie Dallas Cowboys, Manchester City, etc.
Secondly, part of the agreement Amazon signs with clubs is that they get access to pretty much everything - including the locker room and GM talks.
Despite some fans' wishes, their aim is not to do a "hatchet job" but rather to give unprecedented access to behind the scenes of the club.
Finally, Amazon does not give the clubs final cut approval. If they didn't give Manchester City final cut, I doubt they'd give one to a hockey team.
