Re-sign Frolov imo.

Big body, great puck protection, more productive than Vilardi ever was, and most importantly a right shot.

My wishlist.

Sign Byfield on 2 year bridge at 4.75
Sign Spence to Durzi’s last L.A contract

Free agency.

If this management team persists that we go for it while Kopi and Doughty are here, I guess there’s no use trying to yell at the wall. If that is their plan,

Go after Stamkos
Go after Dillon.

Trade Gav and trade for Chychrun.

I would rather build for the future, but it does not appear that is an option.

Fixes right shot sniper

doughty Gets true partner to share heavy lifting

Spence and Clarke each get a safety net.

Like I said not the direction I would take, but if we’re going for it, this is the closest I can get without destroying the teams future

This is it.

I would take Skinner as a back up option to Stammer.

I’ll be shocked if LA signs any big name free agent.

Even Dillon will be sought after and likely requires overpayment to come to LA.

I’m guessing it will be a lesser light guy like an Anthony Duclair type.

LA has never been an in your prime free agent destination.

1) Kings should be trying to upgrade on Anderson & Gavrikov, not Englund;
2) Such a move would pretty much guarantee we’re running back a system very similar to what we’ve run the last few years
would that be suprising? I highly doubt this management group will change their ways. They are stuck in the past

Kopi and Kempe do though. Kopi has cheated offence his whole career to cover defence. Kempe is a strong defensive player. They will more then make up for Stamkos, especially with a strong defence.

These charts confirm the eye test.

Englund was doing okay, then he fell off a cliff. I'm not sure what happened.
Whole team went into a nose dive. Some recovered, he did not.

I think we surprised teams off of the bat and then they got tape in us and countered.

Yeah, I was really happy with his play early in the season. Everything you wanted in a bottom pairing guy. At some point he just kept getting worse.

This was the first time he's ever played a full season.

Prior to this year, the most games he every played was 47.

He's only played 162 games in his career.

It seems like for the first time in a long time, lots of teams have cap space.

I think we're gonna see some ridiculous contracts handed out.

You usually have to overpay in free agency, this year could be worse than most.
