Above Ottinger which is puzzling.

His rational is his high sv% against high dangers chances that is quite high.

He didn't trash talked Skinner directly, I think he too classy for throat slashing comments.

But he extensively go over that his usage of the vh is stupid and that he giving bad goal (zado goal) And that he don't read play and react appropriately. In a quite funny way if you enjoy dry humor (Peter goal)

If only Skinner didn’t have the worst medium and low danger SV% of every goalie left in the playoffs to go with that.

This has to be the first time that a goalie coach has actively poisoned netminders for two different NHL clubs at the same time. Jackson is an idiot or a puppet if he doesn't act the moment this game is over.
 
Complaining on Hfboards doesn't really get to team management. There needs to be physical evidence the fans don't want Schwartz or Bowman. Chants at games, signs, anything to get rid of of these clowns

Never going to happen, you get replaced by a fairweather blindly cheer for any product type of fan. Edmontons got plenty of those, that's why you see the type of product you see today on the ice without repurcussions. How does a team with so much promise just 4 months ago turn out so bad. Look at what these guys did in the offseason.

I always say this. Why not just change the goalie coach for the sake of it after 10 years?

Like how is it going to hurt you? Vancouevr goalie coach is at odds with them. He switched positions on his own lol

Yes, it normally doesnt happen to the goalie coach of the goalie who is playing like shit also was the starting goalie on a team that was within 1 goal of the Stanley Cup.
Odd that it happens at this juncture.
Btw, super interesting and fun factoid. That same goalie coach is the goalie coach of the guy who got the shutout Friday. And the guy who let in 2 last night.

Jackson and Bowman are unserious leaders/managers for not firing this idiot, and we as fans need to start treating the team the same way. If they aren't going to care why should we?

But this org doesn't seem to have much of a clue about goaltending which is odd with the history of the org. You'd think no team would recognize the importance of quality goaltending more than the Oilers.

Schwartz is largely credited for working with three goalies: Skinner, Jarry, and Hart.

Hart last full season- 2.94 GAA, 0.907 SV%
Jarry last season- 2.91 GAA, 0.903 SV%
Skinner last season- 2.62 GAA, 0.905 SV%

There's a pretty clear pattern here- Schwartz's teachings are not generating positive results. That should be all we (or any org/player) need to call for him to be fired.

Dude was hired only because he was in the Oilers back yard and has not once earned the right to retain his job. He's been with the team for more than a decade and every new goalie that comes in crumbles under his expert tutelage. I've been campaigning for a new goalie coach for years now, it's time to can him.

Lowetide on 1440 will 100% mention fans complaining about Schwartz being idiots if he hasn’t already. Biggest Schwartz pumper on the planet!

Our goalies start leaning forward in butterfly after working with non-Schwartz coaches, to leaning back in butterfly when Schwartz is the coach. That’s one big thing I notice.

Confidence is another thing but is that Schwartz or is it the team going easy during practices?or our poor team defence? I understand you don’t want your goalies to overstretch in practice, but you want them to get used to making saves on actual NHL game shots, not just practice shots. (My coach would give me shit for going bar down in practice, but that’s what the practice is for right? Me and the goalie!!)
 
I keep saying this, but if Schwartz isn’t gone tomorrow and Skinner isn’t stapled to the bench for the rest of the year, Bowman and Jackson are either unserious or unqualified to do their jobs. No coach in any league has this kind of security, it’s absolute f***ing bullshit.
