I am a little surprised none of the Ottawa insiders are talking about any potential change or if Dj is on the hot seat

I mean guys like Garrioch, Mendes, Simpson, etc
I mean they kinda did, it was asked an answered by Dorion. All that’s left is to see if his supportive comments were the typical kiss of death for the coach.

That’s making excuses for the player. Yes he is overused but he’s been horrid
Yeah, I don’t think it’s overuse either. He’s got some bad habits and has gotten away from playing a more simple and effective game where he uses his skating as his strength.

He’s trying to take time to pass and make plays while standing still in the D zone and he isn’t very good at it.

The jets should come on every time he gets the puck, and it looks like the forwards are expecting it as they usually take off when he has the puck.

… Only to watch him hesitate, skate deeper into the D zone, and then turn the puck over.

I'd rather he just try to skate his way through the opposition at this point. He's done it in the past and it can't possibly be worse than standing there trying to make an outlet pass

Brannstrom IMO is the guy that needs to be replaced right now & hopefully when Zub returns they bench Brannstrom.
Not surprised as you have never liked Brannstrom but he has been on the plus side of opportunities each game until last night I believe.

Even with that, you know who had the best CORSI? Brannstrom and Holden - and Branny only had 16% OZS so he was tasked with getting the puck out of our zone.

He seemingly has bad luck to not have more points but he is far down the list of improvements needed to make this a better overall team.

3rd pairing D who moves the puck but he isn't physical so he gets called out all the time.

What was Holden doing behind the net when Brann was already engaged below the goal line? Why didn't anyone else win a board battle or clear the crease? 3 of them were there.

DJ the loser is still not fired yet? I predicted 5-15 one week before the season. With only 10 points in the first 20 games. And posted this. DJ is a rookie coach, who does not want to develop himself to the NHL standards. With an NHL coach we would be above 500 right now. It is only on Dorion. Marc Crawford would make this team 500 through out the first 20 games of the season. It is just inexcusable!

Interesting stat I came across

Sv% while leading: 85.48, 29th in the league
Sv% while trailing: 92.12, 5th in the league
You can see it right away when the energy comes down
They stop moving their feet
They Are so afraid of letting one in they turtle back, stop forechecking, stop hitting collapsing in front of the net
