Not really. You just haven’t played good teams with solid NHL players since Covid hit. WCs have been glorified EHT tournaments the past two years because of NHL scheduling. But Canada can ice a solid NHL lineup because of depth in NHL production and therefore can beat you despite your effective well drilled system and long term project with solid Euro players. If Sweden, USA, Russia had normal teams of the level of their 2017-2019 teams, they would beat you too of course.

That might very well be so. But we enjoy now while things are the way they are. Final games are historically not so frequent for Team Finland. You don´t get these chances too often.

The games not mattering doesn’t mean I don’t want to win them. It just doesn’t say anything about a hockey country. Less than juniors even, when the tournaments are somewhat full strength with some exceptions.

We agree. This is how you should look at it. Instead of saying ”Sweden are chokers”. Of course we aren’t. Our C-team and former coach are. Would be nice if Karhukissa stopped trolling and drawing huge conclusions from games like these.

hahahahah as I said earlier this year, because of the olympic gold win, I'm not as stressed out anymore in these tight situations.

Hasn´t Manninen been one of Finlands best players or point producers in WC`s and OG`s these last years? If he´s a bad skater and small, how can he be able to produce so much? Against NHL defenders as well? Seems a bit odd.

Sweden are poor at both hockey and football nowadays.

Idk why some Finns are being an ass to Swedes. They lost, we could just be happy we are still going and they went home instead of laughing for no reason. Its not a best-on-best tournament, but of course the tournament matters. Especially it matters to the Finnish people who just want to see success from our team.

I think it matters something to the Swedes as well since they are commenting here, but losing early doesn't mean there is something wrong with the system. One bad coach can ruin the national team success for years and with other coach the same team can win 3 gold medals in a row.
