WC: Finland vs USA semi final!

I'm hoping for tomorrow that Finland won't immediately fall behind. But what is curious is that under Jalonen, Finland took all the gold medals after being 1-0 down. ;)

No, it’s a realistic perspective on the tournament. Compare the rosters from 2019 and the rosters of the 2021 and 2022 tournaments. Night and day difference on every big team.

And if that happened again, you don’t think we would win? If Hörnqvist could hit an empty netter you would be out in the QFs in 2019. Every small margin went right. You think you would take down Russia with Kuch, Ovechkin, Malkin, Provorov, Vasilevskiy, Sergachev again? Or that Canadian team? You were severly outplayed against both. Miracles happen, and it’s good for hockey, but it rarely happens twice.

What does it matter? If anything, this should be alarming for you guys. Can't even get medals in scrub tournament.

And if Swedes weren't mental midgets, they would probably win elimination games, but that's just not the reality we live in.

No, I don’t draw conclusions about the state of Swedish hockey at all from these tournaments where we have one or two players who would get close to a best on best lineup and a coach who is sacked now.

It’s just Garpenlöv sitting on leads and he’s gone now. Grönborgs team were not mental midgets.

Your comments are just fairy dust before best on best tournament. We don't know what happens before we see that tournament. As of now you are chokers and underperformers, let's wait until best on best.

Lol so much Gold lately I enjoy much, mmmmmmm Finland is the best nation for Ice Hockey....Yeaaaaaah except we still doesn't have best Gold, oh wait, Yes! We have the Olympic Gold... Yeaaaah best ice hcokey nation of the wooooorldddd.

As of now we don’t know. Litteraly only two players from this team and last years team would play on our best team. So call those two chokers and not the rest. Grönborgs team were mentally strong enough to win two gold medals in three years from 2017-19. Garpenlövs team were not mentally strong obviously. Will the new coach create a mentally strong team? We don’t know. So you can’t say anything about the mentality of team Sweden. Few players are relevant and we have a new coach.
