I mean, it was extremely close until a bad penalty call at the end of the 2nd and then a fluky deflection goal as soon as they came back from intermission. Finland unraveled for a few minutes after that, but the key to this game had little to do with talent asserting itself.

Agree on the penalty being bad. Not so much on the rest.

I think the US was clearly better tonight. What that means moving forward, who knows.

And I love the Finns btw, I'm a Stars' fan, I got nothing but love for the Finns. Finns are competitors, Finns are warriors, but they shouldn't be on the same ice as the USA.

What a bad take. Finland is still one of the top hockey countries. Hockey would be such a boring game with only like 3-4 teams playing it.

Makes me quite annoyed tbf that comment, of course they should be on the same ice.
