Well deserved by Spain. Faced the toughest competition and played the best football.
Rodri should get BDO but he won’t
Honestly, I think they gave him Player of the Tournament to try to get him over the line for the Ballon d’OrHe was maybe the 3rd best spanish player. He won because of his City credentials.
I'd say England need Gareth to step down but the only real option is Potter. Unless they want Gareth copycats. Someone that will maximize and not waste talent.
I like how you can instantly tell that list is from a German source .I just found out that no Spanish team, club or national, has lost an international final for 23 years now (Valencia losing to Bayern in 2001). Their record in finals against non-Spanish teams is
23-0 in this timespan with 27 titles in total.

Yeah this is insane. Living among them for 14 years taught me Spaniards are mentality monsters.
I actually hate these boards. When does club football start? Can you tell me more? I've never been to Spain. I always thought Spaniards were lazy (like needing siesta and not working many hrs in a week while Americans work 40 hrs a week but I guess that's not true).
Spain is a big, multicultural country and siestas aren't even a thing in half the country. You don't conquer half the world if you're lazy They work and party hard, and have this "nothing is impossible" attitude that I admire about them. Can you tell me more? I've never been to Spain. To be fair, in how many of those games were the Spanish teams underdogs? Seems like most of the time their opponent is a pretty clear underdog. I think they just have always had some of the best club teams in the world, and their national team has gone through a remarkable transformation from perennial underachiever to top achiever. But of course that list also doesn't show all the K.O. games they lost prior to Finals.Spain is a big, multicultural country and siestas aren't even a thing in half the country. It's still a crazy statistic, no matter how you slice it. I mean talking probabilities, even taking let's say their betting odds in each game into account, I'm sure it's still well below 1%.To be fair, in how many of those games were the Spanish teams underdogs? Nico Williams wasn't good against Germany and especially France
Olmo should have won something for sure. He was great as a sub and he was great as a starter after Pedri went down to injury. He also had that goal clearance to help seal the win.I thought he had another couple of goals or assists in the other matches, but I was wrong. I’d probably have given the nod to Olmo then. I’m happy either way. I have Nico, Olmo, Lamine, Ruiz and Oyarzabal all in my keeper setup so I only need Football Manager to get FM25 up to speed and upgrade those guys.
Success is the best revengeI really like this. Gary Neville was a decent right back, a horrible manager and possibly a worse pundit. Love seeing Cucarella shove it down his throat. Great tourney for Marc.
