Sens lineup
Wow, all the goons + hiding baby Strudel - they really do wanna turn this into a clown show.
Sens lineup
Yes. I really hope Gorton is on the phone with Laval. He was fired in New York because he didn’t protect his players (not because of losing). Let’s not have history repeat itself.Wow, all the goons + hiding baby Strudel - they really do wanna turn this into a clown show.
Gorton apparently learned that lesson as Rags’ GM when Wilson mugged Panarin and took him out: Rangers' Longtime Failure to Protect Players Led to Wilson IncidentI've been saying this forever, we need some more size/toughness added or its going to be a season of injuries and liberties. Edmundson will help if he ever returns. The braintrust must see this, right?
The story in New York was their star players got mugged and they relied on the NHL Discipline Commitee to protect them instead of getting a tougher lineup. And of course the NHL Discipline Commitee and Parros don’t do much. They cleaned house because of this.Gorton learned that lesson as Rags’ GM when Wilson mugged Panarin and took him out: Rangers' Longtime Failure to Protect Players Led to Wilson Incident
What will he be doing about it now, since Ottawa is making their goonery a game strategy that we’re likely to see over the rest of the season? Don’t want to see our best players get hurt, there needs to be deterrence and accountability.
Damn bro why you gotta be so angry all the timeSo what exactly do you want lol?
23 out of 23 guys who can scrap?
We need to have a 4th line of just goons?
So what get a Dave Cemenko on with Suzuki and Caufield for 10 years..?
"Omg need to add size everywhere" ok but can they play f***ing hockey too?
You guys are doing this backwards lol, you dont GET a Xhekaj and go "omfg we need to surround him with Fighters"
You GET a Xhekaj to help insulate the talent
If their 3 goons take turns and challenge Arber at the end of his shifts, he’s constantly going to be at a disadvantage. Hughes needed to see this coming.Time for Arber to claim a few more Sens players as his bitches:

Ugh … this ain’t NATO. If they’re carrying 3 goons in their lineup, chances are they’re planning to use them and their special skills.I think where putting way to much on DJ Smith comments. No Sens player will try to injure our stars players. They are just ready if we try to play a physical game on them.

They sit there regular players and it’s not like if they where the only AHL player dress. Xhakaj and Anderson maybe are gonna have visit but I don’t see this going farther then thatIf their 3 goons take turns and challenge Arber at the end of his shifts, he’s constantly going to be at a disadvantage. Lol yes yes you're soooooo laid back and sooooo cool *swoon*Damn bro why you gotta be so angry all the time
Life aint that serious cus, chill.
DJ turning this into a clown show
I want Xhekaj to not have to fight every game.Lol yes yes you're soooooo laid back and sooooo cool *swoon*
If you actually were that you wouldn't be freaking out about needing an anbundance people that can FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT
Xhekaj can fight, great
Oh no! this team looks like it dressed 2 fighters, well we GOTTA get another fighter!
Oh SHIT sens have 3 fighters?? Go to DEFCON 1!! GET BGL
Like come on man lol
What do you REALLY want
I hope you’re right but their head coach coming out with a promise after the previous game and to actually add those goons in his lineup for tonight’s game, tells me they’re not there for decoration. They sit there regular players and it’s not like if they where the only AHL player dress. Xhakaj and Anderson maybe are gonna have visit but I don’t see this going farther then that
Watson and Kastelic already had a taste of Arber, both initiated it, both regretted it. Sabourin was chased from a game just for running his mouth (right after the Kastelic/Xhekaj fight). If their 3 goons take turns and challenge Arber at the end of his shifts, he’s constantly going to be at a disadvantage. It's definitely a bit of a Paradox lolI want Xhekaj to not have to fight every game.
I want kids to be able to express themselves without being scared on the ice.

Hes had 3 scraps in a matter of 8 games, thats a record breaking 30 scraps in a season. Its not "odd" anymore. It's definitely a bit of a Paradox lol
In a perfect world you dont want him fighting every single game,
But for all we know he doesnt mind fighting and certainly CAN handle himself,
His edginess and nastiness is a huge part of his game that makes him HIM, but with that comes the odd scrap, and with every scrap comes the chance of injury
I dont know what the solution is to the equation, but I just dont think more scrappers is the answer
But guys like Pezz and to a certain extent Anderson stick up for teammates all the time, I mean that's plenty no? You cant have like 5 goons on a team lol
Specially the sens. Only thing worst would have been the leafs. Who thought of this.I'm a little worried they take a shot at Caufield and Dach again.
Scheduling 4 pre-season games against the same team is incredibly f***ing stupid.
Expected experience by fans in attendance tonight:Watson and Kastelic already had a taste of Arber, both initiated it, both regretted it. Sabourin was chased from a game just for running his mouth (right after the Kastelic/Xhekaj fight).
They aren't there to scare Xhekaj, although I expect Sabourin to try to do something to him since he haven't yet.
They are there to make the Sens look big and mean, because DJ Smith is a bully and his inferiority complex is showing at 110% when playing against the Habs (and the Leafs too apparently).
