It's projection. Sens have been targeting Dach, Slaf, Guhle. While Xhekaj is on their shit list since last year (because of a clean hit on a Sens OHL prospect that resulted on a big injury).

The Habs hitting Mr. Dive is just because he's Mr. Dive (and I think he's a slasher too).

Key part of that is Habs/Nordiques did it for the playoffs. Sens are so weak that they opt to do this in the preseason.

Dvorak and Suzuki are hurt. So with Monahan, Dach & Evans as centers, then Pitlick is there because he has experience at center.

If one of Suzuki or Dvorak would be healthy, then Pitlick would be on the wing.
