That was the first hit miller delivered all season. What a waste he is
I agree, it's unfortunate but his brain gets rattled too easily. He was finally coming into his own too.Just watched the clip.
2 things
1. Man the kid really doesn't keep his head up, like you can't see that redwood tree ahead of you?
2. If that is all it takes to put him out he shouldn't be in the nhl anymore. His health is on the line. Unfortunately he was our best center this year but realistically if that's all it takes he'll never play for us in playoffs anyway. We probably should have used the Smith assets on someone that could play center or wing.

When Lafontaine and Keane collided it was a bit nastier looking than last night.
Filip did come back to finish out the 2nd period and the shift or two he took he looked okay. He was involved behind the net and along the boards.
Hopefully it's not bad but I think there's a decent chance he goes on IR or LTIR. I also don't think the Rangers are going out west for 4 games with just 12 forwards so I'd expect them to call someone up. It won't be Othmann who hasn't been playing. Most likely to get recalled--Rempe, Berard, Groulx or Leschyshyn. Maybe some chance for Sykora but I think it will be one of the first four. In any case I think Brodzinski is the most likely to fill in at 3C for now.
On the hit itself. It was an accident. Like others here I'm not happy with how Miller's been playing but there's no way he's trying to take out his own player and he probably feels pretty bad about it. Basically the Rangers want their D to pinch down to keep plays alive in the offensive zone and there was little enough of a forecheck from our team the first half of the game.
If Chytil was wearing a Shark sweater, Miller would have missed him because he would have been sprawled out on his belly 12 feet away.Same can be said for Miller, who should have had a clearer view of Chytil coming up. Chytil was looking toward the boards at the puck, Miller was coming down looking at everything.
He should permanently wear a cage if he returns
84% for me. Edstrom new 3C?
Then why did he come back in? Someone should be fired for that if he is concussed again.Chytil was visibly frustrated at the bench after the hit. Like he knew it was #5 or whatever he’s up to at this point.
