I’ll take Kakko and Cuylle over Roslovic without a second thought. Roslovic could be in forth line rotation - fine by me.I’d rather move wennberg to the first, chytil to 3c, and roslovic to the third.
Get 3 insanely strong lines.
Brains are unpredictable. Someone can suffer a dozen concussions and end up being fine as they get older. Sometimes it just takes one to really knock someone out of whack for good. What I don't like is the way he suffered the last one. No one really saw what happened but if it was a 1 v 1 drill and he tripped over a stick, that isn't really confidence inspiring. What that tells me is that his brain as at the point where even minor impact will cause it to be like "yeah, we're not doing this again."
At the end of the day, he is going to make the call. If he's been medically cleared, then there isn't much else standing in his way other than him.
Doctors told me I was ok to exercise 2 months after open heart surgery and it caused me some rough complications. Same thing with Lundqvist.I’m concerned about his long term well being too, but I really have no idea if the medical consensus is that he’s safe to return. If it is, then I don’t see how any of us have grounds to overrule what he and his doctors decided.
We have that player, it's Wennberg. Wouldn't let him hit free agency. Too versatile and hasn't had the greatest stats season. If nothing else, this is an IMMENSE positive moving into next year. I think the team still need to go find a good top-9 center who could slide over to wing at times just in case, but man, this is good news
Sounds like he just may end up playing in the playoffs, so we'll see.lol no way he is back for the playoffs. He will be in the locker room cheering them on. Do it for Fil!
Let him and the medical staff worry about his well being. If he can and chooses to play then good for him.I'm very concerned for his well being. This could end very badly.
NOW that WE may have done this, the league will make it illegal, a death penalty, move the team to Arizona, etc.We did it! We circumvented the cap!
Yeah? Well who's going to stop us from doing it?! Riddle me this GAG!
Which is why I said regular season. There's no salary cap in the playoffs.
For sure. He's not back in NY and skating in a regular jersey if they don't have plans to play him in the playoffs. Lavi's press conference kinda sealed it imo.You play. I’d rather think that Drury decided to try Vegas cap management approach than player’s health exposure, ie Chytil could have started skating with the team weeks ago. If so - good for Drury
Yeah, yesterday I thought it was a long shot. How things developed in 24 hours - we need to discuss lineup with Chytil in earnest. For sure. He's not back in NY and skating in a regular jersey if they don't have plans to play him in the playoffs. Lavi's press conference kinda sealed it imo.
There's a whopping two games left.
He is NOT doing contact drills if he isnt playing LMAO
Kreider Mika Chytil?
