I’d rather move wennberg to the first, chytil to 3c, and roslovic to the third.
Get 3 insanely strong lines.
I’ll take Kakko and Cuylle over Roslovic without a second thought. Roslovic could be in forth line rotation - fine by me.

Brains are unpredictable. Someone can suffer a dozen concussions and end up being fine as they get older. Sometimes it just takes one to really knock someone out of whack for good. What I don't like is the way he suffered the last one. No one really saw what happened but if it was a 1 v 1 drill and he tripped over a stick, that isn't really confidence inspiring. What that tells me is that his brain as at the point where even minor impact will cause it to be like "yeah, we're not doing this again."

At the end of the day, he is going to make the call. If he's been medically cleared, then there isn't much else standing in his way other than him.

Well said. His return is a double edged sword. Obviously, him being back is a huge boost to the roster and locker room. However, it could be equally devastating to lose him again, should that minor impact cause him to go down in the playoffs.

I’m concerned about his long term well being too, but I really have no idea if the medical consensus is that he’s safe to return. If it is, then I don’t see how any of us have grounds to overrule what he and his doctors decided.
Doctors told me I was ok to exercise 2 months after open heart surgery and it caused me some rough complications. Same thing with Lundqvist.

Plus, these are concussions we’re talking about. Even if Chytil is completely fine, each following concussion is worse and worse. The doctors must have discussed that with him, and I think they advised him against playing, but ultimately it’s up to the patient. If he can avoid further concussions he’ll be ok. But this is hockey

If nothing else, this is an IMMENSE positive moving into next year. I think the team still need to go find a good top-9 center who could slide over to wing at times just in case, but man, this is good news
We have that player, it's Wennberg. Wouldn't let him hit free agency. Too versatile and hasn't had the greatest stats season.

He's got some guys on the team he knew before coming here. He's fit in very well too.

There's no salary cap in the playoffs.
Which is why I said regular season.

You play. I’d rather think that Drury decided to try Vegas cap management approach than player’s health exposure, ie Chytil could have started skating with the team weeks ago. If so - good for Drury
For sure. He's not back in NY and skating in a regular jersey if they don't have plans to play him in the playoffs. Lavi's press conference kinda sealed it imo.

Yeah, yesterday I thought it was a long shot. How things developed in 24 hours - we need to discuss lineup with Chytil in earnest.

I want to try him with Zibanejad and Kreider but I’m also salivating at putting him with Kakko and Cuylle (Wennberg to Zibanejad).

Its fun to think that the second injury in practice when he fell was a huge ruse to buy him more healing time and also Drury more cap space for the run. Chytil was weirdly happy in his season ending presser.

We will never know.

Either way, you gotta think they have the kids health at the forefront - but honestly, he wouldn't be practicing in full a week before playoffs if he didnt have a very good shot to play and contribute. Just MHO

I agree with others in here that say it will be safer to put Fil on the RW. Maybe that's a stupid thought but somehow it seems to be logical. And of course with that 1 RW being a huge black hole, it kinda fits.

This is very exciting. Chytil’s been one of my favorite Rangers for a while and we desperately need to find some 5v5 offense from a line besides Panarin’s.

I’m not going to weigh in on what he should or shouldn’t do. He’s an adult and he’s going to listen to the medical professionals and make his own decision. I hope that whatever he decides works out for the best.
