Chytil just said he's been playing wing since coming back, seems like some miscommunication is going on somewhere...

Either way, freaking love this kid. Look forward to seeing him with KK again, those two are puck hounds with silky mitts who love scoring goals. The perfect pair.

One of the most disappointing things about last season was seeing Chytil do everything right , look dynamic and not get on the score sheet. Glad it's happening. That he missed a few chances in this one , that he will eventually learn to bury should be pretty scary for other teams in our division.

I never understood the hard on HFBoards has for Hischier. Chytil will be the better player imo.

And yeah I'd prefer Barkov anyways. Barkov-Chytil-Barron-Rooney. There's no way to know if Barkov is interested. Otherwise we could probably flip Mika for 2 1sts.

Not really overly disappointing because you knew it was coming. Same thing with Kakko.

It's annoying AF, but the points won't be far behind if you keep doing good things.

It can take a while to develop the finishing touch. It's sometimes the last thing to come along in someone's game.

The hustle is the key ingredient. Does not take a shift off. His two assists to Rooney and Kreider in the last two games resulted from his pure hounding of the puck. He is already a 200 foot player. He plays below the goal line in the defensive zone. He hunts the puck.

Dude is for real.

Could’ve had 2 or 3 in this one. He is becoming a force.

Man, when things are going and you see all of these kids hitting their potential - this is what we’ve tuned into see. Exciting.

I really want to see a Laf - Fil - Kap line

shame the Rangers will be trading him and a few others for Eichel . . . or maybe Zuccarello so one fan can be more optimistic over the next 50 years.

Chytil making Rooney look like a real goal scorer on that rush. If Mika was even close to normal we would have Mika-Chytil-Strome and I would laugh at people who said we were weak down the middle. Sure could we use another prospect or two at the center position? Sure, but it's not like our current centers are even close to being past their prime.

He is also starting to become someone who elevates others play... like if we threw KK or Laf onto the third line (and out of position as well) after missing games, they would not perform well but Fil is playing as well as he would on any line. Part of that is maturity but he seems to just go and plays his game no matter who he's out there with. Hopefully that rubs up off the other kids.
