So that’s it for Ronaldo

You would think so, but the way he's built, he can come back.

He would probably be a different player, but if he can stay relatively healthy, and the drive is still there, then I can see him coming back.

That first goal by Cavani was brilliant. The cross. The finish. Everything. Brilliant.

Uruguay's mid-field & defense, so strong. Tough defense.

Crazy ending. Portugal should have had that free kick. It was in prime position too.

CR7 & Messi go home same day. I wonder if they take the same plane to Spain?

2 great games.

Ronaldo is already a different player than he was 5 years ago. He can’t play the wing anymore as he lost pace, and can’t really dribble anymore. He’s a striker now who makes the best out of the opportunities he gets. He still has 2 years minimum in him at high level.

He purely a box player now, but still a great one to have.

I dont remember last time they called a handball inside the penalty box inthe world cup.

And speciallt this one, there was absolutly zero intent to hit the ball. Could of been easely forgiven if it wasn’t Russia in Russia, i believe.

There's been multiple in this world cup alone. Especially with the VAR. Already a record number of penalties.
