Look it up theres a ton of handballs that were not called in this world cup alone. Thats why people comolain that the Var is innefective

VAR is ineffective because of the way it is used. Some refs will over use it, others just wave it off when it should have been used. It has to be more standard across all games.

I forgive Akinfeev for not joining a top club when he could 8 years ago, that was top notch. Great redemption of his last WC too.

I knew Spain would lose as soon as Diego Costa came off the field for that Reds flop called Iago Aspas. No idea how he was called, I would've brought Morata despite a horrible season, or Inaki Williams who can play physical like Diego Costa, David Villa.... Anyone but Iago. Also they need to drop tiki taka, Xavi (and now Iniesta) aren't there anymore. Now it's just boring football.

I hope people stop underestimating Russian football from now on.

I gotta say I'm impressed with these Russian stadiums. They look incredible.

Qatar is reported to be spending +200billions on WC22. They will even have "mobile stadiums".

Ronaldo is already a different player than he was 5 years ago. He can’t play the wing anymore as he lost pace, and can’t really dribble anymore. He’s a striker now who makes the best out of the opportunities he gets. He still has 2 years minimum in him at high level.

I agree. But there was a certain Dutch striker who made a long career out of doing just that.

Ronaldo is still a threat without the pace, and he's evolved.. I think he will continue to evolve and be effective if he wants to be.
