Great game by Finland. Can anyone tell me the final shot count? I'd say Canada outplayed Finland, but it's less frustrating to not think that.

Are any other Sens fans having 04 playoff flashbacks watching these last two games?

Well that sucks.

Congrats to Finland on a well played game. They deserved to win, they played hard, with effort and as a team. And that's what wins you games. Nitty played superb in goal for them as well.

Canada has to regroup and do something. Getting shutout twice in a row with all the firepower we have is inexusable. There is nothing anyone can say to defend this team from back to back scoreless games. They've got to start playing as a team and putting pucks in the net.

Again congrats to Finland and hopefully Canada can get back on track.

what are we on the powerplay for these two games? 0/13 or something? never a good sign.

Frankly my dear, we have a #1 goalie! Niittymäki prkl, what a game. Canada came back for the second and third period, but Finland was able to shut them down.

Canada is going to be a tough team to beat. They just have to play 60 minutes, not 40.

It was a great game to watch :)

Just curious... was it a great game to watch because the team you were cheering for won? Or because that was actually entertaining for you? I'm just asking because it seemed to me that the whistle was blown every 30 seconds or so, expecially in the 2nd. I found it boring.

Edit: outside of the 1st period, maybe

A few thoughts

1) Great game finland, took advantage of your chances and played great defence

2) I dont know why people say that when Canada is down itll be a great game... the opposing team just goes into a defensive shell... that=boring

3) Top to bottom, maybe they should stop playing like pampered stars and hit like Doan did. Play with some grit for God's sakes

Canada needs to show up the in the first period.

The sleep walking act to start the game is killing them.

That's coaching. Bench a vet (Pronger will do; he doesn't understand the crosschecking rules anyhow) and send a message: show up early or else.

I thought that the game was very entertaining. :) :yo:

Well atleast 1.5 lines actually showed up for the 2nd and 3rd period. Right now, it seems like the Czechs have tomorrow's game in the bag.

Man I really wish we were able to carry an extra defencemen (not on taxi squad) because Pronger needs to sit out one game to get his head back on straight.

Luongo was sharp. The rest of the team , didn't quite play like a team . I hope the individual play converts to team play real soon.

Props to Niittymaki for sticking it to the 'injured' goalies back home. Kiprusoff and Lehtonen might not even even get asked next time 'round.

How does this affect Canada as far as getting into the medal rounds? Are they still in?
